I have done it every now and then to check the steering out and my balance. I - like you am picky of the road I am on at the time. I have never done it with the NAVIGATOR on the back. The police did stop a guy in St Paul for riding his GW east on 94 with his feet on the handle bars, cruise set and laying back on the seat. I saw a guy on interstate 70 in Colorado going down the mountain from the tunnel stand up on his scoot like he was riding a surf board. So taken your hands off the bars to check the steering is kinda tame really. JMO..........................................Ron

Tire came apart today on one of the guys bikes today. The rear tire lost a 6 X 4 inch chunk. Man that was scary for him and the rest of us who were riding around him. Man those tires are JUNK he only had he said 1k miles on them. I was glad I got rid of them and went to AVON................Ron

Got tired of the aggravation. I just took it off and if I ever sell the bike it will go back on. ............................Ron -
Sorry for the loss of your friend Russ. It is sad that this happened I pray for the family and more so for the daughter. To see her father murdered at any age is traumatic. Such a waist of a good person and sadness for all conserned................Ron

Yes Sir it was very hard for her and she said she did not like how far she had to spread her legs to get on and off and it was very awkward getting off.(DO NOT TELL HER I POSTED THIS) Once seated she said her feet and knees bothered her.(we sat on it while talking to the sales guy for about a half hour) Plenty of time to get more then adjusted and like I said I was pretty comfy but the BOSS was not. There you go a honest answer to your question. I just hope she don't read this. But my life insurance is payed up............................Ron

Good to see you PITBULL. I have seen several around and when we were at the river road run got to see them upfront. We sat on one and a sales guy took our picture. I thought it was kinda cool and very well balanced. Linda did not like how she had to get on and off as well as the seating area for her was uncomfortable. I liked it myself and would not mind owning one..........Ron

I make it a point to stop at lemonade or cool-aid stands to help young entrepreneurs. Makes a nice refreshing pit stop and a stretch of the legs. There is or was a stand north of Stillwater Mn on 95 on the River Road 2 girls put out every summer on the weekends. They also sold CC cookies too!! made for a nice little stop..........Ron

Not all but there are a few dealers that try and lie and cheat us. My dealer was a GREAT dealer in Stillwater,MN http://www.centurypower.com/ Told me straight up that all things on the bike were covered under warranty. Front to back bottom to top and never cost me a dime. They even replaced screws and nuts that had vibrated loose. I know not all dealers are that good to there customers (SAD) Good luck on your quest 1 2...........................Ron

1 2 ride RSV Don't know if your whine is covered or not. You post no picture of your bike or year. Thats kinda important. 2004 or newer it should still be covered under warranty. I bought mine used and the warranty was good for 2 more years. I got quite a few things fixed and most were not cheep.............Ron
-
Thats good news, but it stinks about not having a warranty. Did not know you folks in Aus did not have a 5 year warranty:mad:. It makes it tough to get all the little nit noids taken care of that all new vehicles have.....................Ron

I can PM you my cell # or look in my VR member list. We like meeting members and shooting the breeze..............................Ron

The NAVIGATOR and I went and seen the Dark Knight at South Point casino. When we pulled in there was a real pretty blue VENTURE so we parked next to it and I got one of my VENTURERIDER cards out to put on the windshield and low and behold there was a VR card already there. We looked at it and it was left by none other then our own Princess M (very cool). We went in and saw the movie (which was pretty good) and came out and Princess M and DK KNIGHT left us a card on our windshield asking "WHO R U" So it was I and the NAVIGATOR so now you know and we should do ??. Your people contact my people and it will be magical Maybe a little M & E with all the other VR members in the area. Hope the person an the Blue VENTURE contacts the board or me my ph# is on my card...........................................Ron
