    For the last 4 years I have test drove the FJR. Well this year I got one.. And OMG... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I've only had it up to 115... smooth as silk just ran out of road

    Buz, not trying to steal your post, but I want to tell everyone that the people from Speedbleeder are topnotch!!!!!!!!!!!! Placed my order and got it within a few days, opened the package and did one of those "DOH" am I a dummy thoughts. Forgot that there was 2 bleeders on each wheel so I went and ordered a second set thinking oh well I just will have to pay the extra cost of postage..... Got a note back from them saying they were refunding the cost of postage on the second order..... WOW that shows they are a great place to buy things..

    The worst I've seen was my bell after we ran into a cattle drive out in wyoming.. Ended up with a Gremlin ball of poo..... Must have been a couple hundred head being drove right down the road

    I sent the question To Carbon one already, but a guy at work wants to know if it will lift a Venture high enough to remove the rear tire... I have a lift but never took the tire off....yet

    For some reason they seem to be moving around a lot.... Since I hit one 2 months ago I've seen more and more of them either on the road or running next to it on the way to work every morning.....

    I have a RSTD and a FJR so I do understand where you are coming from, two different worlds!!!!! 1 up the FJR is great but when it comes to comfort the TD is best...made even better now that all the mods are done and it has venture seats and trunk. Heat..... dont worry about it, water cooled bikes are not that hot..

    That is what I did, puut extra support on the rafters and mounted a electric winch to a 12 x 12 x 1 plank I had and it works wonders.. Now I plenty of room for the other toys..

    I know the feeling well, I hit a good sized one 2 months back and was lucky I didnt put the bike down... If I was riding the FJR I think I would have been banged up good...     shop around... There is many reasons why someone has high insurance and why someone has low.... Driving record is not the only reason... credit score is also a factor in many states.. I pay $158 a year for the RSTD and $225 for the FJR.... so the price is way different everywhere and an agent CAN (but may not) give you a deal.... SHOP Around!!!!!

    I have Barons on the Tour Deventure, not real loud but I like the sound. I think part of the problem is the ones who run straight pipes and take off from the bar at 2am at full throttle... I leave for work at 5:30am and idle out so I dont piss off anyone.

    I have to put my 2 cents worth in.... Its not the bike!!!!!!!!!!!! I ride the FJR and I dont ride like a idiot... but I have seen many ride like that..
