  8. That seat is a mustang seat which was sold here... We did a 600 mile ride up to Door county in Wisconsin and there was NO PAIN or no nasty screaching from the back of the bike...hee hee She said it was like riding on air....Got to keep MAMA happy:bluesbrother:
  9. Here is the drawing for the bracket
  10. The seat will sit there but I do have the drawing for the bracket to hold the seat down. For the passenger seat you will need a different bracket to hold the seat on http://thumbs12.ebaystatic.com/pict/350270784529_1.jpg

  12. When I get tired of the whining I just leave her home.... Kidding aside, there are many fixes some work some dont... Some just cover the noise. But the way the gears are cut is the reason they whine like they do... I say get louder pipes..........
  13. From the PGR web page.... Dress for safety, comfort and respect. Many suggestions have been made regarding standard shirts or clothing but PGR has not adopted a dress code or policy for our members. A family may have a special request due to ethnic or religious practices for a specifically colored shirt or other form of attire. Since our mission is “respect,” we do everything in our power to honor those requests. Keep in mind that we are there to respect the family, and check your vests for any patches which may contain offensive language. Those patches can be covered with masking tape for the duration of the mission. Many members have decided to use a vest specific for PGR missions. You will see several different color ball caps at missions. Black hats are worn by National Officers and Regional Captains. Red hats indicate State Captains and Maroon is worn by the Ride Captains. This helps to make them more easily identifiable at missions and events. Blue is worn by the regular members. Green is worn by the Help on the Homefront officers and coordinators. 14. only if you installed them. The Tour Deluxe does not have 4-ways... But if you need to know how it may be in the tech area or I do have it if you need it
  15. This tool is just that....A TOOL... For us who ride and want to save the $$$ this is as close as most of us need to get to have the bike running great... It is worth much more than the money spent on it....
  16. Use LED's over 55 watt halogens????? NA......... Led's are great but not bright enough... I want to look like a plane landing........
  17. Well it looks like I need a larger stator..... I only have the yamaha passing lamps and a set of Motolights and the bike cant handle it... Drains the battery.... if I turn off the 55 watt Moto lights I could save the 8.3 amps... but I bought them to be seen....... I was going to pull the plug on the carb heaters, but this is wisconsin......I ride until it snows...never too cold with the buckeye stator I hope to have more than enough power
  18. I really wanted to be see and be seen at night, I installed the light bar and Motolights to my bike....can light up the road a lot
  19. I had a bolt that was stripped and I used a drill bit called Grabit and it came right out...heres the link you can get these at most hardware stores http://www.aldn.com/grabit/ http://www.aldn.com/images/grabit_pro.jpg
  20. WOW this one could be as bad as asking an oil question... The dealer I bought my bike from (now closed) didnt know squat about the bike.. When I took the bike home the seat wasnt even attached, and when they TRIED to do a carb sync made the bike run worse.... The dealer I use now, and wont change. sells only Yamahas....the only way to go in my book... If you find a dealer that is good, dont change where you go, to few of them out there that know what they are doing Another dealer in our area has a parts department that yamaha should looking into, the rudest parts manager I ever met and I work the parts department at my job so I know what to expect....
  21. I have one for sale on the Classifieds.... Bought the bracket and tour pak , but now doing a conversition to a Venture tour pak so dont need the removable tour pak...
  22. This screws into a rubber gasket , you might be able to pull it right out
  23. I agree, cold will never stop me from riding...But all it takes is salt or snow on the road to get me to put the bike away
  24. My name is missing in action....
