I went old school with my 78 F-150 I built a 351 with about 350hp and put a C-4 tranny on it. I drove it for about 150,000 miles and never had a problem with it. I did get some speeding and noise tickets though.

Do they have a map I can fill out that shows where I crashed and left most of my skin...?

I got clearance to go back to work Monday morning light duty, my job has computer work for me so I can start getting a paycheck again. This has been a long trying time and I am glad it is almost over. Tom

What I can tell ya is when I was growing up we lived in a 200 y/o historic house and what I learned is when the chimney is on the outside for heat it usually is not structural but if it was set in the middle of the house for cooking and heat it may be structural.Do not take that as I know what I am talking about so I say research it.

I just happened to be looking on ebay and I saw some very familiar parts on there and when I saw the battery cover with the stickers I new it was my bike that the insurance company totaled in Ga. If you see the 86 parts that are tan with stickers on the battery cover that was my bike so if anyone wants to buy the parts I can give a history of them. The engine is for sale also and it does not have 70 something thousand on it because the speedo was in Kilometers so divide that for miles. Tom

I thought alot about posting here and this is my personal experience. I live in southern Florida where it is hot so I ride in a t-shirt and shorts, well my friends that ride Harley's yell at me all the time for this but they refuse to wear helmets. I don't say a word because I have been in an accident before and know for a fact that I can live with road rash but I cannot live with a busted head. I just recently found that out again, if I did not have my helmet on I would not be here today but that being said I will never tell anyone what they should or should not wear while riding so do not tell me. All I can say is that people who do not wear helmets are selfish and do not think of the consequences of what happens to there family when they do have an accident. Only thoughts from a recent surviving crash victim. Tom
