The only draw back I see is that it may get you to an old answer and if the question is not revisited there may be a new voice or new product that won't be heard about.

So how well do cowboy boots work with 2nd Gen Controls?
MidlifeVenture replied to GG54172's topic in Riding Gear
You don't have to use the heal shifter just because its there. Use your toe it works. http://www.leatherup.com/p/Xelement-Biker-Boots/Classic-Motorcycle-Advanced-Engineer-Biker-Boot/41631.html Just got these seemed to be good price here. -

Has anyone ever adapted a 2 1/2 ton car jack to use on there bike. Kind of seems like it could work if some out riggers were added for balance and a small mod to the lift adapter.:lightbulb:

Good news if you are ready to buy new Update 02/13/09 at 11.30 am. Our government just announced that motorcycles will be included in the stimulus package. “The bill would let those who buy a new car, light vehicle, recreational vehicle or motorcycle in 2009 deduct state and local sales taxes as well as any excise tax charged in the purchase. The deduction would be available to those earning less than $125,000 ($250,000 for joint filers). It will be an above-the-line deduction, meaning even taxpayers who don’t itemize may take it in addition to the standard deduction. Estimated cost: $1.7 billion”.

Passing Lamp
MidlifeVenture replied to MidlifeVenture's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Thanks I see that now. When you read the large description at the top it seems like everything is in a kit and the same description comes up in my wish list for each. Passing Lamps The classic look. Lamp kit includes traditional-styled lamps with a remote, dash-mounted switch and all necessary wiring. Mounting hardware sold separately. (Dealer installation is recommended). Thanks- 19 replies

Sounded like a good way to empty the card but if anyone tries this or uses debt cards for on line payments paypal slips a $1 fee on the card first so you can't just donate the balance. No where in the process did I see that additions would be added. Well learn something knew every day.

My wife and I were not successful until we did it together. Kind of easy to fall off the wagon when the temptation is right there. You go long enough and when you do end thinking you want one they taste bad. Smoked 21 yrs been 5 yrs since I quit hang in there its worth the money and the health.

What fee do you get charged on a credit card transaction. Why I ask is if I have some Visa gift cards with a little left on them is it worth dropping them as a donation. Hate to end up costing you money.

Just remember even though the product is "MADE IN THE USA" doesn't mean every part in it was made in the USA. In fact even an American car is mostly products of another country especially steel. So I still shop quality and cost.

I received my first bike as a Christmas present in 2004 a 81 Wing at the time I thought my next move would be HD and my wife new this and made sure the wing is what I wanted. I told here I would rather learn on a $2,000 than a $20,000 one. In 2005 I stopped into the local dealer and there it sat I fell in love with the looks of it then I made the mistake of sitting on it I knew then HD would have a challenger in my choice. To my wife's surprise the RSV was added to the computers wallpaper along with the HD Ultra Classic. I told my friend about the RSV and he then started pushing the HD but all it took for me was the day he took off on my Wing leaving me to ride his Classic by the time we made it to our destination my feet and hands itched from the vibrations and I felt cramped in comparison to my Wing. In 2008 I was at the dealer to get my wife a better helmet to go on a ride to benefit the wife of a fallen officer in Twinsburg and they had a Black Cherry/ Raven sitting there. After prying me away from it I was told not now. Later that year I was following a RSV on a poker run took some pictures of it and when my wife saw them she told me to just go buy it. This time I told here no but after another month or so she caught me lurking on this sight and again told me to go buy it. So I said lets go next weekend. When I got to the dealer the 2008 had sold 2 days earlier my heart sank. Then the dealer pointed out that he had a 2007 Midnight and I fell in love again and signed on the dotted line. Everything went well till next morning hearing the bottom of the market has fallen out and now I just hope I make it through these times without loosing what I waited so long to get. Some days regretting giving up my Wing that was payed for. BUT ALL WILL BE GOOD have to think Positive.

I recently bought my 07 and I love it. I had a 81 wing prior to this bike. I looked at the RSV for three years before my wife told me to stop looking and just buy it. I am 6'3" and this is the most spacious bike of this style I found. Allot of passenger room also. This sight is awesome just start going through the 2nd gen tec talk forums and you will find more info then you can digest. Just one caution this sight can be addicting and may cause jealousy from your spouse.
