Offer from Oberlin Inn for Maintenance Day
MidlifeVenture replied to Freebird's topic in Watering Hole
Could always treat them the same way just book a room and say a week prior everyone cancel there reservations in time not to loose any deposit Oh that was wrong to think that way -
When it comes to cars trucks bikes the value for the dollar and personal taste hits #! in my book every one will have different choices go with what ever gives you the most bang for your buck and has the features you are personally looking for If its what you like then it is a winner for you. Even though you said you do not like Nissans I bought a Frontier Crew cab Extended bed it is a 6 cyl gives me the gas milage I need for every day driving and is able to pull my camper and was the cheapest in its class that I could find so it was the right truck for me.We have had 2 other Nissans that went over 200,000 miles with little problems.

If you could trade your Venture for a Goldwing
MidlifeVenture replied to zooer's topic in Watering Hole
I started with a GL1100 as my first Bike fell in love with the RSV. The goldwings are great bikes but to me just far too much plastic. They do not look like or sound like a traditional Motorcycle just not for me, Besides I already feel old around my friends on there sport bikes but there the jealous ones when I pull out cloths to suit the weather or thermos of coffee but with all the bad things I've heard lately really makes you think about those air bags I would be torn. -

Looking at the weather I topped off the tank added winterizer went for a ride pulled in shut the fuel off then let her run until she died. Now the question is should this be done I just did what I do to the snow thrower but thinking a little now I wonder if it is good to let the carbs dry out? I hate this time of year store the bike, boat and camper and try and get all the things off the honey-do list before spring.

Well after years as the lead Automation assembly Tech I have taken a new position as a Service Tech, going through some training and trying to get all my travel perks signed up for before I hit the road. Its a strange feeling changing jobs after 13 years but it feels right.
