2000 RSV with 35,000- what to do?
MidlifeVenture replied to Sandbagger's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
The clutch and brake fluid thing surprised me too until I saw how nasty brown the oil in some of the lines were, then I had to do it on my sons truck when the clutch only engaged an inch from the floor. Maintenance day taught me a lesson there:thumbsup: -
YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN :sign20:

So what kind of MP3 music player do you use?
MidlifeVenture replied to SilvrT's topic in Watering Hole
8G Ipod Nano also I use the velcro arm band You use for running and have it strapped around my brake master cylinder and a short cord to the front of the cassette player. I have a cigaret lighter adapter if I need to charge but it lasts for hours. My other plan is to put the audio splitter in the fairing and run a jack back to the pouch on my tank bra, that I have not yet put on my bike. I should have never bought her new I 'm just afraid I might hurt her some how. -
That is great news just follow the doctors orders and make sure it heals good before getting too crazy:thumbsup:

08 RSV clutch question
MidlifeVenture replied to BigBear's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
On my sons Ranger I used a large syringe like you would buy to inject seasoning into a turkey and a piece of tubing that fit on the bleeder to draw the fluid through the clutch it worked great and was inexpensive since I had them laying around. Did this after seeing the nifty pump set up at MD. -

Driving Lights
MidlifeVenture replied to MidlifeVenture's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Well it is $270 for the Yamaha set up then if you buy the spacer if this set up fit better for fairing removal and it looked a little better then the chromed bent tube for $150 from the dealer I would have added it to my wish list and if every one feels the same way on cost eventually I might find it cheaper.- 12 replies
