  1. Time to put the Blizzaks on.
  2. Could also be something going on with the springs an imbalance in tension causing the door to track uneven nothing that slopping grease will help.
  3. Yours is a different beast I did mine while installing passing lamps I had the gas tank off pulled the dog bones and used the plug wrench that is in the tool kit was pretty easy. After installing OME plugs heard allot of good things about irideom plugs kinda wish I had got them instead.
  4. What is average temps late Sept. In WV Been getting awfully cold here in Ohio early Sept?
  5. Old time Fels Naptha soap really helps dry up the blisters and a product called Ivy Dry comes in a soap and a liquid these are my go to products
  6. Thoughts going out to heal quickly and fully. Hate hearing this kind of thing.
  7. Anyone know of an Intruder forum that is awesome like our Venture group?
  8. We told my son if he graduated from college we would buy him a bike. Well he did it now it is time to keep our promise. Through a friend found this 1986 Intruder I've only seen photos so far the owner wasn't sure if he was selling it and he has the carbs off being rebuilt he will call when it is back together to make a deal he is asking 1800 he has owned it from new and has kept it maintained. Any thoughts I think it is a good deal but always like the groups opinions.

  10. Maybe some photos of what your doing and working with, I do robotic phone support and sometimes a photo helps a million in trouble shooting.
  11. Do you have a link to bulbs been looking at some very expensive ones. Truck Lite 4 5” LED Auxiliary Lamp POI80275 | eBay to put in mine to reduce draw.
  12. Yep been there Acording to EBC the V series sounds good just wondered if anyone had tried them don't know how new is new. When it comes to safety of stopping the cost isn't really an issue I just want to be able to stop but also not hurt my bike or myself. First time changing brakes on bike I've checked them and swapped pads around but first time buying if there is better then OME I'll get it if not back to the stealer. EBC Brakes™ Semi-Sintered V-Pads™ are a new blended Semi-Sintered brake pad that combine the highest qualities of an organic brake pad with the endurance of a sintered equivalent brake pad. The V-Pad™ range have been dyno tested and prove to be longer lasting than other cheap sintered aftermarket brake pads. The Vee brake pad range are designed for the heavy cruiser/streetbike market as a replacement brake pad. thanks for the input
  13. Am I putting to much thought into this I would think stopping these bikes would bring greater discussion. Either I am not searching the correct words or there isn't much on the subject.
  14. Then it would be Brake Pad's posts honest wasn't singling you out
  15. Seems a lot of people seem to like the EBC FA179HH front and FA123 rear but 2 sites said HH did not go with our bike and recommended the FA179V semi sintered for our bike has anybody went with these still would probably go organic rear to help soften the lock up. Any input would be appreciated quite confused right now. Also spark plug $3 standard or $10 iridium have to pull the tank to install passing lamps so want all the parts to be ready for spring.
