    My Yamaha rep. has just emailed me that the iSimple iPod adaptor will be available in a few weeks. Here is some info on this.     Thank you Don for hosting Kyle and I at the Maintenance Day event! We had a great time with everybody, and it was well worth our trip down (once we made it out of new york state!).     spoke with all of my Yamaha sources, and the ipod product is in the beginning phases. I would anticipate it actually being available by the end of summer.

    I am bringing Star Ball Caps.... I have plenty of brake pads and oil filters coming down with me! Trying to find out info. on ipod Kit, I do not see any info. in my newest accessory books or online yamaha site. I have gaskets 3JP-15461-01-00 AND 4NK-15462-00-00 in stock, will bring them with.

    Yes we will have credit cards....visa/mastercard, amex, and discover. Will just call the store to run credit card, and if anybody wants a credit card receipt, i can either email it or snail-mail it when i get home on monday

    Do most riders change oil and filter at maintenance day? Again trying to figure out how many gallons of oil to bring?!

    Hey folks, after seeing some of the tire prices I previously listed, I realized that I was a bit higher than I should be. ELITE 3 FRONT $135 ELITE 3 REAR $160 D404 FRONT $125 D404 REAR $120 I realize that these may not be as cheap as certain places online, however I do not stock a warehouse of these tires, and have to order them in to bring them down for the weekend. In addition to this, Dunlop has had a price increase (yet again!) over the past month. Hope this clears everything up.

    TIRE PRICES Dunlop Elite 3 Front (150-80-16) $149.95 Rear (MV85-15) $174.95 Dunlop D404 Front (150-80-16) $139.95 Rear (150-90-15) $134.95 I AM REALLY IN THE DARK AS FAR AS HOW MANY TIRES I SHOULD PLAN ON BRINGING. ANY ASSISTANCE/SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I DO NOT HAVE TIRE CHANGING EQUIPMENT TO BRING, NOT SURE HOW THAT WORKS AT THE MAINTENANCE DAY. BRAKE PRICES EBC FA179HH $36.95/SET (2 SETS REQUIRED) EBC FA123HH $31.95/SET I was told that the HH pads were preferred. These are obviously a few bucks more than standard pads, so let me know if I am wrong on this. Again, any suggestions as to number of brake pads would be a big help!

    Annie....I will have a XXL yellow combination rainsuit for you. I need some measurements to order the correct leather jacket. Use a measuring tape to measure all the way around the chest (in inches), and also around the waist. I have to order the coat in either a size 48 or 50, but both of these are comparable to an XL, so just want to be sure. Thanks!

    Hi all, back from vacation, and just wanted to let everybody know that I have a running list of items people are looking for, as well as general maintenance items for Gen I and Gen II Ventures. Annie for rain suits we carry the Tourmaster Defender rain suit. They are a lightweight and good suit, I have personally used it and am very happy with it. Complete set is $75, boot covers are also an option for an addition $20-25. Just let me know what size you need. For the weekend I will bring a bunch of them down in our trailer. Gen I guys, any preference of handlebar grips? Thanks and see everybody soon!

    I will certainly be bringing some Yamaha apparel, as well as dealer tshirts and other odds and ends. Freebird, I will have a front fender rail there for you. Flyin' Fool, I looked all over for an OEM windshield for you and cannot find anything. They are discontinued from Yamaha, and I tried doing a dealer locator and could not find anything. I am planning on bringing common maintenance parts for Gen I's as well! Bob, I will be bringing brake fluid as well. Annie, I'm sending you a PM about the leather coats. Thanks all!

    Hi all this is Chad from Pioneer Motorsport. We are a Yamaha/Suzuki/Kawasaki/Can-Am dealer in western new york as well as VR sponsor. We will be attending our first maintenance day this summer, and wanted to get a thread started for special request items. We have a good sized enclosed trailer that we will have filled with Star apparel and goodies. I already am planning on bringing the standard maintenance items (Oil and filters from Yamaha, brakes from EBC, brake fluid from Bel Ray, tires - Dunlop Elite 3 and D404, an assortment of STAR accessories, etc.) If you are looking for a particular item please either post it in the official thread in the watering hole or PM me. I don't get to check venturerider every day but will at least get on a few times a week to respond to posts and messages. Thanks and looking forward to meeting everyone in a few months!
