There was about 35 kids in Miss Jackson's Bible school class. She was in the process of asking them questions about the Bible. She asked if anyone knew what the resurrection was or if anyone knew any thing about it. This little kid, way in the back of the class, raised his hand and said, OH Oh I do I do. The teacher said O.K. what do you know about the resurrection? He said all I know is that if you get one, and it lasts more than 4 hours, you better call a Doctor fast.

I have been running a spare donut tire for a year now. I know all about the warnings but I always was a rebel of sorts. I got one on ebay for $28.00 new and put it on the rear with no problems. I run 45 lbs in it and I have had it on for about 5000 miles now with not much visible wear. The tire says not to run it over 50 miles per hour but I have been to 90 without any problems. With the weight difference between the car and a bike I figure that it's safe. If you don't agree then don't use it.

Spare Fuel for long Trip
fishrepair replied to alvald83's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
I made a spare tank to go in the back carrier on my 1986 VR, out of a metal, Johnson, Boat gas tank. It's a extra 6 gallons and works great on a long trip. It fits perfect, and is easy to install. 1 fresh air line, 1 rubber gas line, a 3 way gas block, a on off switch, 3 hose clamps and some paint for the tank, unless you like red.The line hooks in on the left side of the motor, just before the fuel pump. Simple and easy. -

I saw a set of leg stretchers at Wal-Mart the other night that might help. -
I went to a Meskner block K, side car tire, on the front. I have about 15000 miles on it and it is hardly worn at all. It rides good and handles good also. I run 35 pounds in it. The guy that recommended it says that I could get 40 to 50 thousand out of it.

Kinda reminds me of the first date that I ever had, when I was 14. I asked her where she wanted to go to eat and she said MOOOO.

YOU COULD ALWAYS DO WHAT I DO SINCE I RETIRED AND CLEAN OUT THE COO COO CLOCK AT THE BUS STATION. IT DON'T PAY MUCH BUT YOU GET A LOT OF FERTILIZE TO SELL.

My 1986 V.R. has 237112 miles on it. When I get to 300000 I think I will sell it or trade it off.

I had the same problem on my 1986 and I doubled up on the clutch spring. About a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch now and it's gone. No slip just get go.I guess that a new spring would do the same but I had another used one in my parts pile.

I had the same thing happen to me the other day. The front brake switch, under the brake lever, is defective. I took one off of my parts bike and spliced it in the place of the old one and shazzam, it worked.

I have had physical problems for some time now and I was recently diagnosed by a competent psychologist who said that my trouble was that my mother had rocked me too much when I was a child. I told him that I had always believed that too be part of the problem, because some of them were great big rocks.

Why Men Are Never Depressed...

No wonder when God asked Adam what she should be called, he said, WOE- MAN. Now we don't even spell it the same. -
I HAD TROUBLE WITH MY VOYAGER TRIKE KIT AND HAD TO HAVE IT ADJUSTED SEVERAL DIFFERENT TIMES. I FINALLY MADE A PIECE FOR EITHER SIDE THAT BOLTS TO THE SIDE OF THE BIKE AND TO THE FRAME OF THE KIT. THIS TOOK CARE OF MY PROBLEMS AND IT RIDES LIKE A TRIKE WITH A STRAIGHT AXLE NOW. THERE'S NOT MUCH LEAN IN CURVES, AND IT'S A GOOD BALANCED RIDE . I WILL BE GLAD TO SEND YOU PICTURES IF YOU GIVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.

A belt sander is the most accurate way. Take it slow and check the pipe fit after each rotation. L.O.L.

Cruise Control dis-engaging
fishrepair replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I was having the same problem until I started setting the cruise control and moving the resume or accelerate switch about 3 times and now it holds until the cows come home.
