:bang head: Get a Second TV!! ..... Duh!!!

Had a great ride today, bike was running well, full tank w. seafoam, sunny, mild (that last for you guys up north). Ran about 125 miles and stopped before heading home for a fill up. No sense running the last 20 miles in the dark on the interstate with an estimated 25 mile range left. Problem is, she just didn't feel/sound right after the fill up, as in right away! RPM's seemed to be where they were supposed to be, she was running at speed, but seemed to lacking Oompf as well as sounding different. Maybe a bit more throaty? (even my wife noticed). Perhaps a sound similar to the turbo boost braking my (diesel)truck when I take my foot of the gas. Sure would like some suggestions as to what you guys might think about this. Thanks!!

I'm lazy and my back don't like it too much either! 'Sides the shop owner said he thought there was , so why not ask the intelectual few and find out for sure:)

Welcome to the pleasures of being self employed. I only work half days! I get to choose whether I want to work the first half or the second half!

Would it be to simplistic to assume that foot pegs for Mk1's and Mk2's are interchangeable?? Is the shift linkage that is used with the boards usable with pegs or is that a different size? What would be a fair price for a set in good condition (w/o shift link)? thanks!

Refund simply means you have over paid, or more accurately, given the feds a interest free loan (Which took money away from riding a motorcycle!!! ... How's that MRAF??)

saddle bag locks

Took it off, took the back plate off. There is some play in the cylinder but can't get it out to have a closer looksee. I'll keep an eye out on e-bay i guess. Thanks though -
I've got a similar problem with oil, brake fluid, fuel and now apparently also kickstand. Except mine come on and go off at times. I know everything is serviced and levels are OK, so as long as they go off I'm good! Somewhere along the line the CMU started to do a self test while driving. Guess I'll find out if that's still going on now that the CMU is fixed/checked.

saddle bag locks

did that!! the key will not move the slide, it just turns round and round -
Two of the locks holding the bag on the bike are not activating meaning I can't take them off. (The third has a new(er) lock w. separate key) Are these things repairable? Does someone have two (preferable 3) replacement locks? Or do i need to buy new ones and if so where? Thanks!!

Hybrid gives me the option to reply which i can't seem to find on the "threaded" display, Threaded would allow me to stay close to the top and not scroll so much. Guess they each have their pro's. I'll try something else for a while.

Trying to hook in a bypass switch for the cooling fan before buttoning her back up. I've put a splice in both the black and blue wire going to the fan but am not sure which one to connect to ground and which one to the battery. Would I need a inline fuse and if so what size? Thanks.

I don't care to read every thread so I personally would like to see a full tool bar on the bottom of the pages, allowing me to go "home" or the "forum list" without having to scroll back to the top. If there's enough interest and it is possible, could this be possible?

Keep in mind that you cannot mix spray heads and rotors in the same zone unless you use mixed precip heads. Drip should always be a seperate zone. You'll not be able to water anything right. I do not advocate soakers, they tend to water OK close to the bib but not enough at he end of the run. Drip line allows you to place an emitter next to each shrub or plant without performance loss down the line. You can convert spays with drip "spider" heads. What is your water pressure? Spray heads and drip shouldn't have more then 30psi for optimum performance Look at flat spray heads (they do not provide elevation and are designed to go under the shrub canopy). Move your heads to sit against the foundation and have them shoot out. All you'd need is a shovel and enough funny pipe. Use bublers.

Hope you can that that stuff off:080402gudl_prv:. Meanwhile, what, if anything have you done to prevent future buildup?? Adjusting spray patterns, changing nozzles or changing to a drip line (not soaker hose) are some options. Contact me if you feel I may be able to help.

Have you checked on propane prices? Brenda's boss asked her to do so after a fill up and discovering a friend payed less, turns out competitor's price was lower. Had her call his supplier back and got an adjustment on his bill!! I think it went from over 4 to about 2.50. Seems I heard someone talk about the delivery guy draining the rest of the tank prior to fill up because it was easier that way. Could be way of here, but something to watch for nonetheless Good luck:225:

Had individual gas heaters when i was a kid, oil furnace for about a year, and then a heat pump (with woodstove ) Still don't like a heatpump, with a woodstove or oil furnace you're putting hot air into your house, heatpump will just pump cold air and gradually heat the place up but not nearly as 'comfortable'. Other factor to consider with a heat pump: no electric>>NO heat!!! Having said that, my elecrtric bill was $0.0989/Kw or if you prefer $0.0289/sqft
