I've seen this before, still amazing. Now if only my video would play without me having to move the cursor on and off the screen to advance the pic.

OK, spend way too much time going through pages and pages of pegs and boards from numerous manufacturers and looks like I found them. They are made by Big Bike Parts and these look to be the ones: http://www.bigbikeparts.com/Inventory/Navision/21-469?catalogNo=1 Apparently they are made for an 1800 Wing but I know they'll fit on the down brace of the 1st Gen engine guard. Since they do not fit my Valkyrie very well, I'll sell them for $65 including shipping but you will have to buy the replacement extension. (http://www.bigbikeparts.com/Inventory/Navision/21-314?catalogNo=1) You'll wind up with a nice set of boards for almost half the new price. Give me a shout if you're interested! Thanks,

Wasn't me!! Never removed the airbox, actually I have some pictures under my profile about that very thing, 'cause I was worried about the oil in the airbox and the aasembled membership here told me that some oil is normal from the breather line. But then, I never had a problem with the tach surging .....

horn works of the regular horn button. you have a push button that I had my garage door opener hooked in to and the light switch was for thew driving lights. I'd see if the guy you got it from knows where the driving lights went, the brackets they were on can't be had anymore (I should still have the old ones along with other minor stuff you are welcome to) As far as the brackets, look in my albums, you'll figure it out My cell is 444-5880, I work nights (for now)

I could be wrong, but I'm going to suggest that your windshield is two inches shorter, you have three holes/switches in the right side dash next to the false tank cover, your upgraded R/R is on the airbox, you have a metal stub under the right side floor board and there is a block on the frame brace next to the right front cylinder. I'm wondering where the 2 inch driving lights are though:think: And they were on Squidley's brackets! Never could figure out why two of the LED's wouldn't work on the back.

I have a nice set of straight pegs I'll sell you, but what you really want are some longhorn offset ones. The problem with straight pegs is that unless you are really long legged, you'll want them on the horizontal bar from the engine guard which will make them point forward just a tad. Placing them on the vertical support for the engine guard will place them slightly out of reach and onle leaves the outside half usable. At least for my 32inch inseam.

I recently bought one to replace my Scorpion full face with which I took a nose dive. Haven't made any major trips but based on some of my few short trips here's my observation: This is supposed to be a heavy helmet but coming from my FF Scorpion I can't tell much difference (yet) The locking mechanism for the modular is metal on metal and seems easy to operate it has a chin wind curtain which does not seem removable. The chin bar is bigger then I am used to, though the instrument cluster still falls above the bar so I do not need to look down. It has a build in sun visor. The vents are great, I can actually feel air flowing over my head from the top vents (chin vent is below the windshield), as long as my face shield is not full open! There is an access panel which can be removed for a bluetooth module/headset. The helmet is noisier then a FF, but I read that going in. shield up it seems comparable to my old FF, but the further down the shield the more noise. So far I have three things which I am not real happy with: there are only three detents in the visor: 1/4, 1/2 and full open. you can not open the shield 3/4 (it really needs one) of the way which would put the bottom of the shield above your line of sight. Both the sunvisor and the shield seem to be thinner than I am used to and they vibrate when riding, and with both visors down(face shield either 1/4 or 1/2) the bottom edge of each shield seems to be interfering somewhat with my view of the instrument cluster because 1. it's there and 2 due to the vibration. I bought it at MC superstore on closeout in my size for $169. Overall I am not dissatisfied with it though I would argue that my FF fit me better. FWIW

I've been trying to get the screw under the trunk latch of my I/S out, the sumbich ain't moving! Tried the regular screw driver, didn't work. Tried heating the nut beforehand, didn't work. Tried grinding a bigger slot in the head so i could get a BMF screwdriver in there, no luck. Tried grinding the sides of the screw down so I could get a wrench on there, didn't work either. Seems like that thing is welded in there http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/Smileys/actions/tickedoff.gif http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/Smileys/actions/tickedoff.gifhttp://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/Smileys/actions/tickedoff.gif So how do I get this POS out of there short of grinding the whole head down? Thanks,

Actually, ... Round Up MAY kill it depending on how long the thing has been there. If you cut the tree down and build a deck over the stump you'll be spraying quite awhile! If this is a fairly new sprout, spray it, wait a couple of weeks and remove a plank to pull the dead sapling. Unless you want to look at a cut of branch for the next ten years. 'Course you can skip the whole round up thing and just yank it from the get go.

 .................. hmm! I had one on my Shadow and found that it transferred pressure to a different point of the wrist. I had a thumb lock on my 1st Gen which I used extensively and now I have the Kuryaken cramp busters on both sides on my Valk. I'll be adding some Throttlemeisters to it before it's all over, being able to drop your right hand at times is very nice,

Just bought some the other day and that stuff will only increase my per gallon cost by about 30 cents , cheaper to find straight gas which is only 20 cents per gallon more:rain2:. I've tried to find the advertised 25% increase in mpg's with straight gas but had no luck, maybe my calculator was broke
