  1. I saw your stuff. I'm watching the lower cowling:256: That will bolt on my 88?
  2. Nice looking dog you have there. I'm a dog lover, I like em all.....
  3. I love the night ride. Not in the winter thou...lol The ice I can't see gives me the willies. I do go slower and scan for the deer eyes up ahead.
  4. We got hit hard too. If any of you know how to "Open a URL" with Windows Media Player. Heres the IP address of my yard cams. See the dog loving it, me not so much:snow2: http://24.127.175.182:1048 You have to enter it in the box, exactly like you see it.With no spaces in the front of it either. If you copy and paste it,sometimes that happens.
  5. We missed the deeper stuff, west of Philly. Thats a good thing, because I help with the sidewalks at the office complex, accross the street from me. I'll be over there, off and on all day I guess. Wish I could just go riding...well it is work, so I'm happy to have it...I guess:snow2:
  6. A big nasty lion is coming my way........boohoo:95: I'm taken this set back pretty hard. On a side nore, I'm all signed up for the PA MC safety course in april.
  7. I just ordered some parts from Flatout....Shipping seems high:crying: LOL
  8. I'm running a set of Kenda Kruz tires. Have a bout 1000 miles on them so far. They seem nice, no problems to report. I think I got them from Chapperall Motor sports. If you buy 2 tires you get free shipping. My total was $140.00 for both shipped:thumbsup:
  9. Sorry to hear that. I moved my bike 3 times when it was blowing here. I could not get it back into the garage I use. Because of snow and mud. I leaned it into the wind and it stayed up. I thought for sure it was going over.
  10. No nerd on a MP gonna be passing me anytime soon. I have a 1st gen, and its fast as....well you know.
  11. Glad your allright..... The orings in the calipers are old and dryed out or melting. I have the same year. SO far I'm OK break wise . But I too need to do a rebuild on all 3 on em. Plus, I allways test ride around the house a while before going any type of speed at all. Baby step my man.... Get her safe, get used to the weight and then go have fun.
  12. High 40s today and mid 50s sunday, here in Philly. Theres 3 inches on the ground, so todays gonna be wet from the melting. But, at least I'll get her ready for tommorrow, and take a small ride today. Winter must go! Me no like.
  13. I'm sorry but if I find a tire full of money. Its going home with me.The 3 of us split it up and keep quite, for gods sake....lol
  14. Download and install this app.Follow the directions. It really works. You may have to boot her computer into "safemode" to get it to install and run. tap f8 as its booting for safemode http://www.superantispyware.com/?tag=GOOGLE-SUPERANTISPYWARE
  15. Vista 32 might be only able to use 3.5 or so gigs of RAM. Wich should be allright But A 64 bit OS can use like 8 gigs of RAM. Nobody but graphic artist and a few others need all that, but you never know. If the guy just surfs and does email, just about anything will do. I would just find the best deal, with the biggest monitor. Then upgrade the RAM yourself.
  16. If your gonna stick with WindowsXP 32bit is the way to go. Vista is 64 and the new one too. Not something to worry about, very much. Just remember, Vista will want 4 gigs of RAM to run right. 2 is fine for XP
  17. I would get the "dell deal" of the month. Look for a free monitor upgrade, Order it with no preloaded trial ware. And I would go with windowsXP and 2 gigs of RAM. If you get Vista 4 gigs of RAM is recommend. For $400.00 you should be able to get a good puter and a 22" monitor from them. Good luck. I build my own but I play 3d games and need a beefy Video card etc. So I'm forced to build my own to save money. The puter I built for myself cost about $500.00 with no monitor, but its a $2000.00 box in the stores
  18. I have a head cold. Its day 3 and I think its breaking up. There is ice and snow on the ground and it plain, sux. This weekend looks to be sorta nice with sunday looking sunny and 40+. So I hope to get in a nice ride or two. Other then that, I'm old now and dont like winter at all now....lol Can you say? "Cabin Fever":smile5:
  19. May he rest in peace. My prayers are also with you.
  20. My van was cutting out in the rain, then one dry day it just wouldn't start. No spark. After I replaced the coil and wires, which didn't work. I replaced the Ignition Control Module "ICM" Its on the firewall, and had some goo coming out of it like it melted. Thats what it was for me. It actually had water in it, and when I turned left it would shut off more from the water I guess...lol. The goo that protects the circuit was melted from a overvolt I guess, and water got in there. Mine was only $25.00 for my old van so I tryed it. Electrical problems can get pricey if you don't know what to replace. The easy checks are Dist Cap, Ignition wire arching spark, Coil, and look for melted stuff on the firewall...lol Good Luck.
