    this is so ture, they no longer make them. called six habor freight stores. i made my own wasnt hard at all. used 14 inch car rim. if i knew how to draw on here i`ed post a drawing of it. maybe take a pic and download that if anyone interested.

    just buy what you want, hope for the best. they all have good points and bad, and dont let someone else make your mind up for you. i own 4 of the above trucks, not stuck on any brand nor do i follow the leader. ask yourself what does daddy want.

    i went thru the buy this try that thing a year ago. what i found that works for me was the cheapest thing i bought. beads, yes the kind taxi drivers use. got one off ebay to fit my seat and love it. they make them for cycles. they let air flow thru them. i didnt think i like them but wont ride without them now.

    i made arm rest for the wife and got peg risers so she could have the option of moving her feet from floorboard to a higher level on pegs. that she really liked. i have pillow top seats. added a cup holder and a pouch for her. i added leds in the back and on the sides of saddle bags, she worried about being seen. she`s findely happy, for now.

    I ues the bosch 3300 oil filter at autozone . Always have clean looking oil after 4000 miles.

    yep, that was the colors. to bad i didnt run in to them at a gas pump or something. like letting my wingers buds know their more then just me as they always tell me.

    seen two ventures in the parking lot of the overlook dinner in leaveworth indiana as we rode by to cordyon saturday. anyboby from here? why do i always see ventures at a place of food and drink? we also were headed to eat! when you ride with a pack of wolfs / i mean goldwingers its nice to see a venture now and then.

    they look great! you need to be seen, thats why i put leds on my saddle bags . two on the sides and one on the back. i also have the c. d. led brake light. at night the bike looks like a wing, its so lit up back there. i also put two small leds on my mud flap. like the front light thing you did and will check that out.

    thanks to all for your info, i found some on ebay that are with tire adapter for $114.00 plus shipping. ordered it. yes they stoped making the adapter??? i got one of the few left out there that another company had ordered them and have but a few left. thanks for the how to and tips im sure i`ll need them.

    tryen to get a hf tire changer from online . i can not find the motorcycle adapter anywhere on the site. i know alot of you have them, can you point me to a part number or web page showing them. i called a hf store and they need a part number to find them? nice knowing thier on top of there supply and inventory , said she -can not help with out part number and i said web page not showing it and she said sorry.maybe they stoped making it? seen a portable motorcyle stand on ebay for $79.00 but cant find anyone that has one to say good or bad . its a copy of hf i think.

    i have the road kings and they keep getting louder, stock is best for quiet sound.

    i run the federal and at 16000 miles im only half way worn. 42 psi. wont use any other brand.

    i guess im blind, may have seen you and thought you were a HD maybe. we were on the skyway sunday and monday and dragon sunday also, on silver o5 two up.

    we just got back from deals gap, rode the skyway and everything back there. we have been there eight times thru out the last three years. i always look for fellow venture rides where ever we go, but this weekend there had to be twenty thousand bikes around that mtn. only seen one venture? mostly HD and goldwings.my so call riding buddys always make fun of the lack of ventures we see. there goldwingers and always try to get me to change over. there nice bikes but not comfortable for me. but i do fell like im the only one sometimes. was any of you venture rides in that area, first or 2nd generation. surely i was not alone.

    i would like to see new gagets added to the rsv, but i dont want it to change much at all. gagets will never change me from the bike i ride. being uncomfortable would or handling. i see where some say nothing changing on the rsv so i`ll go to a HD or wing? they must not be happy anyway with rsv ! a cd changer shouldnt make you change your bike. so i hope in two years when my bikes paid off i`ll buy a 2012 and it`ll be like my 2005.if it dosent have the gagets i want i`ll put them on like i did my 05.so where most are hoping for a big change i am not.

    nice bike, but now you`ll have to change your dress code to fit your bike. hopefully thats all you`ll have to change.
