Our company has been doing a lot of changes when it comes to healthcare benefits that keeps on going up every year and retirement benefits. Several of my coworkers who have been with the company for over 20 years had to place an early retirement, because if they stay longer with the company they will actually be loosing some retirement benefits. We have the so cold new and old retirement benefit package and I chose to stay in the old package. The economy is still very volatile. Companies are trying to save money in any shape or form.

With your daily routine in place, it is a good idea to add a workout routine three times a week. Perhaps your local gym can be your favorite hangout places in the am.

Sniper dure? That sounds crazy. This reminds of the DC sniper a few years ago.

Hmmmm, I'm still not sure how 1 hour will save daylight. ....must see sunshine soon:stirthepot:. It has been cloudy for the last week.

Well, I've finished cutting the grass and blowing leaves that came from a mile away. I think this will be my last cut for this year. What is this nor...easter the weather man is talking about for next week? I hope it does not turn into an all snow event. It is simply to early to see white stuff in my neck of the woods. I am still convinced it is not the end of the world yet.

Indian summer is bound to happen. There is always Gerbing heated gear. Reconsider and you shall be happy again.

Walmart always has the best price when it comes to Rotella 15W40.

I know some co-workers that arrive to work early before sunrise and leave work after sunset and never see the sun for the whole day. It has happened to me three days in a row before.

Nice to know that I am at least going to get an hour of extra snooze. Don't forget to move back your clocks tonight for 1 hour.

Been riding two days after Hurricane Sandy passed by our area. Leaves all over the place, but the wind is helping clear the roads. This time of the year, there is that voice that tells me to take the bike and ride. I don't take side roads at night, btw. Bambi may be lurking in the dark.

I had no idea C1 had a 1st Gen.

I always first assess my physical ability at that time and ask myself - 'am I ready to ride today'. Weather and road condition comes secondary. There are times that I really wanted to ride instead of the cage and almost always I point towards safety first. I admit that there are times the bike wins over the car.

I usually stick with Goodyears on my newer vehicle. On my old 95 Taurus SHO, I've installed Falkens on them and got close to 60K on each set. I don't run the Taurus hard anymore that is why tires last longer. Almost always, tire life also depends on your style of driving.

I should be able to ride today and tomorrow as well. Just watch out for those leaves on the road. Ride Safe.

Slowly drying up here in the southeast corner of PA. Schools are back in session. Remaining optimistic that I will see the sun tomorrow.

Wahooo! Christmas came early this year (Carbon One Lift Adapter)
N3FOL replied to GG54172's topic in Watering Hole
I still can remember the day my Carbon One Adapter arrived in my front door and I was just as happy to see the adapter...so excited to unpack and see how it really works. It is one of the best item I've purchased for the Venture. Congrats and enjoy doing your own maintenance at home.- 2 replies

Moving is not the easiest to do. I'd rather work all day than move belongings to a new location. Packing and Unpacking takes a few days and get everything organized. Hope being offline is not too long.

Another Purolator filter user here. I prefer the longer PL14610. Walmart has the best price for the Filter in our area.

Still cloudy over a wide range for the next 24 hours. Rain continues at this time and about 10 inches of rain came out from the sky. Flooding is a concern and thousands in the MD area are still out of electricity. Not sure if school will be back in session tomorrow, Wednesday. Looks like everybody will be back to work soon.

Welcome! I also had my membership expire for awhile, but this forum is something I really enjoy posting random things. Facebook is getting a little too boring for now.

Rain and Wind is pounding our area right now. Parts of the town no longer have power. I am not sure how long electricity will stay on tonight in our neighborhood. Once the hurricane had pass, there will be some clean up to do. This weekend looks promising to work on the bike for routine maintenance. Stay Safe everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Glad to hear you are doing ok. Keep those wounds clean all the time. You want to prevent infection. As far as your bike is concerned, as stated before, weigh your options and see how much money and effort you will have to spend in order to get your Venture back in running condition. Heal Well.
