  7. Ahh. This reminds me to plug in the bike on trickle charge. Icy conditions tonight. Ugly weather for the next few days. What else is new? Winter weather is affecting my ride time.
  8. Congrats on your upcoming retirement plans. I am also getting tired of winter this season and I don't know why I feel this way. Perhaps it is due to me not able to ride at least once so far this year and weather for the whole week here in SE Pa. is not looking so promising. At any rate, start packing and don't forget to bring your Venture with you.
  9. Now that's a Great Deal!

Yep. I get this time to time in my mailbox. Very tempting, but we know better not to click on something I am not familiar with. Always be a step ahead...
  12. One More Time!!!! Happy New Year to All!!!! It is great to be back on this forum as always.
  13. Yes. I had just replaced my fuel filter about 5 months ago. This strange phenomena occurred around August. I still have the same fuel filter and rode a lot during the Fall months, but not so much this December. As soon as I am done cleaning my office area by tomorrow, I will also replace my fuel filter together with my rear tire. To be honest, it was not a good feeling being stuck on the side of the road with my Venture as I always do a lot of night riding.
  14. I had a similar occurrence last Summer around August. Left the house in the afternoon. Two miles down the road, I noticed my engine died as I was coasting downhill. Luckily I was not on a road going uphill or it would be a different story. At any rate, I was able to pull on the side of the road and sat there cranking my engine. One think I remember is that I only have less than 1/4 of a tank left. Being a member of this forum, I remember things to do in case something like this happen while on the road.....so I opened my gas tank and at the same time switched to Reserve. I didn't really notice any air going in, when I opened my tank. One thing to consider, I had just replaced my fuel filter around March 2016. So......I sat on the side of the road for about 3 to 5 minutes and whalllaaaa, my bike fired right up and off I go... To make this long story shorter, it has never occurred to me anymore up to this date. This week, I will replace my fuel filter to have peace of mind during this winter months. I have 50K plus miles and still on my original fuel pump.
  15. Yeah Jrichard. There will also be chance of Thunderstorms all summer long. If weather cooperates, participants will have a great time.
  16. If it gets that cold below Zero, it is very hard for me to go out especially if I don't have to go to work. Engines will be howling at that temperature upon start up. Winter must leave soon. :sun::sun:

    Just Had To

Glad to hear you were able to go out and ride. I am also itching for a nice ride even for a short ride to the grocery store and to our local hardware store is worth it. Tuesday temperature should be around 50 degrees just like what you had today. I also need to replace my rear tire sometime this week. Ride Safe.
  18. I love to share the good news. I happily don't drink beer.
  19. Glad to know about a tentative date for the International Rally.
  20. I use the Honda Moly - I think that is what it is called. I'll double check the name tomorrow. BTW, I just googled it and read something about the Honda Moly 60 as a discontinued item. It had been replaced by Honda Moly 77. Luckily, I still have an unopened tube that I purchased a number of years ago on standby.
  21. Great accomplishment and service to your organization. Enjoy your Fridays off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I truly love my Carbon One lift adapter as well. In the next few days, I'll be using it to replace my rear tire. Have fun working on your bike. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. Hello Du-Rron. I've never used 14459, but I'll keep that in mind. For now, I am happy with Bosch Oil Filters.
  25. I've used that filter several times on my Kawasaki and several times on my Venture. Had no problems with them.
