prayer's for our grandson

Believe and it shall happen. My prayers sent. 🙏 -
Today will be 50° to 60° warmer. A simple wipe down and check tire pressure should bring me back on 2 wheels. 👍

I read in the news about a water main break in Baltimore. A car is parked next to the water main break 2 days ago. To make the long story short, water sprayed on top of the car and there was at least... At least 5 inches of ice around the car. OMG! ❄️👀

CNN says it is even too cold for polar bears. 😛 A co-worker said she couldn't open her car doors this morning. It was frozen shut. Even with Gerbings around your entire body, the windchill is still unbearable. No way I'll ride in this temperature. Be careful out there, if you plan to be outside.

Sounds like a great place to be. Wish I can I easily go, but too far. Enjoy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I got a couple of ride sessions a few days ago, but snow is coming our way. Looking at the extended forecast, I may not get any ride in until next weekend. 😩 We may get between 3 to 5 inches of snow which is enough to make everything messy on the roads. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My Condolences.

Trully a sad story.

I really thought I'll be able to ride today, but we had some snow early am. 😆 Now waiting for everything to melt and dry up. My Gerbings is waiting. ❄️😸

Congrats on your newly acquired rear light. I also got mine 4 years ago and went for LEDs on them. Keep it shiny. 😇

That is true. 😄 It also would look awkward to have antenna somewhere in front of you. I remember another fellow ham here and he posted pics and talked about everything about his 2m project install on his venture awhile back. I think he installed a yaesu 2m waterproof rig right where the cassette used to be.

Which one is that, Bob? Something you invented?

What MC jack for the RSV?
N3FOL replied to Mike G in SC's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Yes. I do have the Carbon One adapter with stands. The bike is stable as long as you center the jack on the adapter. Guaranteed it is stable. Once you've installed the legs on the adapter and lay them on solid ground, the bike is very stable at that point. FYI. The adapter have slots on each corner where you can install the legs - 4 of them. -
Impressive towers for sure. Have fun dxing.

Negative. Glass mounts on both mobile (cars) only. Sorry to confuse you.

Here is my jack. I am sure you will love this jack from J&S. 👍 http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/re6e4u9a.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/ma6ydybu.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/12/16/tubu7a8y.jpg -
Yes. Gerbings is also my choice of heated gear. On the other hand, as much as I want to ride this week I couldn't due to snow and salt on the roads here in the NorthEast. Next weekend is looking better. 👍

Congrats on the new gear. Keep up on your studies for extra. Don't forget to learn code. It can be a lot of fun. I have 2m/440 on both mobile, but will not talk while on the venture. 😳. Antenna are half wave glass mount Larsen antennas. Great performance IMO. Base station is a dipole and 3 element Yagi on a 40 foot tower. Rig is a FT1000D. 73

I have Direct TV and so far no complaints. Also have international channels, so I have at least 2 dish antenna next to each other mounted on the ground. 😎 I used to be cable for decades and now a switch. No comcast in our area.

I will send you close up pics of the jack. Not sure what model jack it is, but I think they only have one type at the time I placed my order. Sorry for the late response. Just saw this message. Need to subscribe to the thread. 👀 FYI. I have the Carbon One adapter on the pic. -
I've been reading about this arctic blast in the news. Right now, we only have light rain and in the high 40's. The cold air is not too far away until it reaches SE Pa. Not really looking forward to next week.

Got the chance to ride for 3 days in a row. To and from work was fun. Gerbings were out. Today - foggy conditions and rain in the forecast. The only consolation is above average temperature. In about 2 days, temps should drop 20 degrees colder. 💦❄️ Looks like riding may have to wait until next week.

I just did a month ago too.

Mac users, you may want to avoid the Maverick OS upgrade.

Thanks for the heads up.
