  1. Glad your bike is back in running condition. So... What do you think is the culprit of the no start?
  2. Hello Dale. If ever I get caught by rain, I will pull over under a bridge or take the early exit and seek shelter somewhere....gas station or anywhere and wait for the downpour to subside. If youu have no other choice, just watch your speed. If I am not mistaken, I think some members use pledge on their windshield that may help repel water.
  3. I never watch golf.
  4. Try to give your petcock a twist once every tank full. Mine is also 'initially' tight, but once I get it going to twist it feels just fine.
  5. Nice pics. Glad to hear you've had a great time riding. I agree, 40° temps is perfectly ok. I can ride for hours with that temperature. Ride Safe.
  6. Take care and hope to see you back here someday. Regards.
  7. Great to hear the news. Keep it up and always work hard. Be humble. He will guide you in the right path. 👍

    last day

    Congrats. Enjoy your Golden Years.
  9. NorthEast weather has been very active.
  10. Likewise on this end...finally got the chance to ride to work and to the gym. I will for sure ride to work again tomorrow. Temps around 60° and I am looking forward to it. After Tuesday, the bike will need a good wipe down. I opened him up on the interstate and it ran well. Ride Safe.
  11. I may start looking at newer yaesu dual band rigs. I have the ft5200 dual band in my other cager, but every time I drive the newer car I am left with no radio. Not a good feeling. I prefer something that I don't have to drill on the dash. Perhaps a suction cup mount is good with a detachable face. Thanks for all the links.
  12. Way toooo cold for me. I need to heat up my bike once again. Could not ride. Too much salt on the roads and temps in the teens. Next week is not looking any better. I am wishing for Spring to come sooner. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Very nice! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I am looking for a new dual band 2m/440 rig for my '13 Camry. I am not sure where to mount the rig, but do you guys have any suggestions as to what kind of rig and type of mounting? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Congratulations Skid! You deserve it after working all these years. As far as your health, you shall overcome that. Just like my dad, he retired 9 years ago and he said it is one of his best decision in life. He battled prostrate cancer right after retirement and now is enjoying retirement life to the fullest. He goes back home to the Phillipines every year for 2 months. I get jealous time to time. Again, enjoy your golden years.
  16. I replaced my battery with the same Yuasa brand last summer. I've been very happy with it.
  17. I've had my Prius for about 8 years now, but I sure don't drive like an idiot. I maintain a good posted speed limit and obey all traffic laws. Perhaps this has something to do that there are more and more idiot drivers out there that are just too daring and reckless to begin with. Prius owners are being singled out here. At least I belong to the 40+ mpg club. 😎 BTW, do you happen to know the most dangerous city in the nation in terms of traffic accidents?
  18. Michelin Tires are good quality tires. I trust them on my cars and on motorcycles. 👍

    coolant

I agree on the 50/50 coolant mix. I've changed coolant twice already and it sure is good to have that replaced on a regular interval.
  20. Prayers sent. Congrats on your retirement.
  21. I'll try to tough it out. C'mon March!
  22. We expect to get another 4 to 8 inches of snow today. This means I won't be able to ride for another couple of days until we get a melt down and forecasted rain on Wednesday. Another 6 weeks of winter they said.
  23. I wouldn't want to have those type of cracks on any of my tires be it on a motorcycle or cager. Have it replaced right away, if you have not done it yet. Above all, it is a PITA to keep on removing the rear every time this happens. Hope you get that issue straightened out.
  24. I've been folding my chaps the wrong way. Thanks for the post. I'll for sure learn how to fold it that way on the video.
  25. Prayers sent. 🙏
