  1. If it gets that cold below Zero, it is very hard for me to go out especially if I don't have to go to work. Engines will be howling at that temperature upon start up. Winter must leave soon. :sun::sun:

    Just Had To

Glad to hear you were able to go out and ride. I am also itching for a nice ride even for a short ride to the grocery store and to our local hardware store is worth it. Tuesday temperature should be around 50 degrees just like what you had today. I also need to replace my rear tire sometime this week. Ride Safe.
  3. I love to share the good news. I happily don't drink beer.
  4. Glad to know about a tentative date for the International Rally.
  5. I use the Honda Moly - I think that is what it is called. I'll double check the name tomorrow. BTW, I just googled it and read something about the Honda Moly 60 as a discontinued item. It had been replaced by Honda Moly 77. Luckily, I still have an unopened tube that I purchased a number of years ago on standby.
  6. Great accomplishment and service to your organization. Enjoy your Fridays off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I truly love my Carbon One lift adapter as well. In the next few days, I'll be using it to replace my rear tire. Have fun working on your bike. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Hello Du-Rron. I've never used 14459, but I'll keep that in mind. For now, I am happy with Bosch Oil Filters.
  10. I've used that filter several times on my Kawasaki and several times on my Venture. Had no problems with them.
  11. That purolator model doesn't work for me anymore. I bought 2 and now I have no use for it since it won't screw in. I recently switched to Bosch Oil Filters and they look like very good quality and a little more expensive.
  12. Hello To Ponch. I remember him very well too. He has helped me a lot via this Forum. I truly miss him. Take Care Ponch!
  13. ... I really want to try to do this one day. Looks easy with some precautions.
  14. Hello. If you happen to have more spare time, you can try to get back in the group. This social media stuff is very time consuming, but very entertaining.
  15. My 2nd Yuasa is in its 3rd year and still going strong. (Need to plug it in my Trickle Charger soon). The original Yuasa lasted almost 5 years until I decided to replace it. Only Yuasa for me as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I also can't picture how the rear wheel would lock up at all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. After reading this 'classic' thread once again, this reminds me to perform another carb synch on my Venture. The last time I did it was around the end of summer (2016).
  18. As mentioned previously, I agree that it is very likely your front tire is making the noise. I tend to hear more noise turning on a curve and just plain leaning the bike as I navigate the road. My front tire has about 5K miles or more, so I can see more usage of rubber on the edges during leaning of the bike. In the straights...it tends to be quiet.
  19. Glad everything worked out. [emoji106]🏻
  20. Thanks for the link.
  21. Wow! That 2nd pic really does appear to be worn out. Glad your shop was able to get it fixed.
  22. Had my usual large breakfast and then went for a grocery run. Sunday - went to mass
  23. I learned a new trick just in case I come across a very tight oil filter. This may be my first best choice, if I can avoid an oil mess.
  24. I like the new ride. Enjoy every single mile.
