  1. It is a work day tomorrow....must ride in. I can't let my Venture sit in the garage for too long. Ride Safe.
  2. Perhaps find out which phone carrier has the best signal in your location and switch.

    gas price

Luckily I wash all my vehicles by hand. I was never tempted to get a car wash at a gas station.

    gas price

$2.39 in MD with no car or bike wash. With car or bike wash, it is 0.20 cents less at $2.19 per gallon.

    DEER!!!!

Rode in yesterday to work and headed home around 1:30 am. I saw about 4 deer in separate occasion. Not really looking out for cars at that time, but was on the lookout for deer. It was around 34 degrees and they love to be out and about. I never felt the cold and the ride home was a little intense hoping that a deer would not cross my path. Ride Safe and always be on the lookout.

    gas price

Price is cheaper is Maryland compared to Pennsylvania, so I get gas in Maryland 90% of the time. The highest I've seen is $2.49. As long as I don't see $3.00 a gallon in the near future, I think I should be ok.
  7. Rest In Peace, Joe....
  8. I rode to work last week and filled it with gas. I'll be changing oil and filter this weekend and plug the battery on my battery tender. I am ready for cold weather riding and glad to hear that you are also able to go out before putting the bike away. Ride Safe next year.
  9. Happy Thanksgiving to All!
  10. Glad to hear that you are back to work since last Monday. Also glad to hear that your Pancreas did not suffer any serious damage. Take it easy and perhaps someday, you will find the right bike to replace your '07 Blue Venture. Regards.
  11. Hello Yammer Dan. I find 'You Tube' a very good source of information.
  12. I know the Nomad very well. It is a very dependable and exciting bike. You shall have year and years of enjoyment on your new ride. Congrats!
  13. hmmmm. After watching the video, I learned 'another' way of removing the calipers to replace brake pads. But....this is not what I have learned. I think it is not a good idea to remove those bolts from the rubber boots unless really necessary. At any rate, it does look ok with the end result.
  14. Just go myself a 'Buddipole Deluxe' for use while on the road or mountain topping. Also in the process of finishing my Go-Box and will install Yaesu 991A and a 40Amp PS in it. If you ever decide to get back to it, the buddipole may be the perfect application for you and it can be as stealth as it can be depending on where you want to put it in your home location. http://www.buddipole.com/ Oh btw, I am still interested on that Surefire 2211. I may just get it for my own X-Mas gift.
  15. Looks like you have very nice weather for the ride. Thanks for sharing your pics.
  16. Heal well, Brake Pad. Nice to read something from you, now that you are able to type on the keyboard. Hope to hear from you again. Regards.
  17. Gave it up? Why? That call sign might still be available.
  18. You are back! Glad to hear from you.
  19. There is nothing good about Dope unless it is used for medicinal purposes for only the people that need it the most. Abuse is also a huge problem, so I can say that I also HATE DOPE.
  20. This product looks very nice. As I was checking out dealer/seller locations in our area, majority are guitar music stores so I think it is also widely used in the music industry....say for a DJ, etc.

    DEER!!!!

I plan to ride to work today. Going home late will be VERY interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I agree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah. I saw one from Amazon, but I think it is the older model of the 2211. The older brother has a different wrist strap. Somehow, if I ever get one I will have to make sure it is not turned on during riding. It may very well be under my sleeves especially during the cold winter months. Still thinking about it.... 24. Since do a good amount of night riding, I am seriously looking into this wrist light. 25. I also have seen a little bit of oil around my air filters, but it never really bothered me. I consistently stay on top of it and keep wiping away whatever I can reach by hand. My bike has no mods at all and it runs like a champ. Ride Safe.
