  1. Glad to hear that everything is still going your way. The Motto is "Never Give Up." There is really a lot to be thankful in this world. Regards.
  2. For Spark plugs, Yamaha recommends you replace every 8K miles. Only use NGK plugs and check gap before installing. Your bike will love it. If you have a tool to balance the carbs, do that as soon as you can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I’ve had mine since ‘07 and closing in at 59K miles. Only regular gas on my bike. It has not tasted premium and it performs perfect to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I saw the pics and the specs. I am not too excited on the styling. The Venture still has the best styling and features that I want on a motorcycle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Rode to and from work at 50° temp. Very comfortable and always fun. Just watch out for those leaves on the corners. Ride safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I also like the bike itself. The engine appears to have a lot of potential. One more thing to check out this winter. [emoji3][emoji524][emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. There are truly a lot of good things about the SVTC that the 2nd Gens do not have and whole lot more. There are also a lot of problems that I've read about on this forum that I think are pretty minor in nature and it is something that can be fixed. Overall, I am giving the '18 SVTC a :happy34:.
  8. I have a co-worker in our maintenance department and he was telling me about those remote control planes that can fly and maneuver like crazy. They usually have an annual convention of enthusiast where people come from all over the country and around the world. They all flock in one location complete with a nice miniature airstrip and all the works. He said some of the planes and jets, etc. can cost one several thousands of dollars. It really is a fun hobby for the old and the young.
  9. Now I see your situation and for the most part, you were aware of the impending install. Hope you got everything straightened out on your SVTC. Sounds like an easy one.
  10. I was so sad, when I heard the news. RIP 'Fallen 7'. Thanks for sharing.
  11. To be honest, if that was my bike, I would take it back to the dealer and they should work on it. The bike's lights and accessories and overall performance must be in perfect working condition once you take delivery of the motorcycle.
  12. From what I’ve read on this forum and after talking to a co- worker who has been on the darkside on this Goldwing, it really is a win win situation. Everything positive comments on his part and he gets a LOT more miles on his rear tire. The only thing for his Honda is that there will almost be no Honda dealer that will install a CT for him. He has to go to an independent Harley mechanic to get it mounted. With the size tire the SVTC has and the almost negligible lower tire (CT), I think it is the way to go on these Heavy cruiser/touring as long as you can find a reputable business that will install the CT for you. 13. At any rate, just came from Wally Mart. I physically verified that both filters have similar size except the length. 7317 is longer than 6017. Same price as well. [emoji362] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I really think that the 777s will really be a good fit for all make and model. Glad to hear you have a similar experience. [emoji1303][emoji1303]. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So are you saying the TG 7317 will fit our RSV? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Nice Truck!
  17. If I am not mistaken, I have close to 10K miles on my Rear Shinko 777. This tire is Made in Korea. I still have a lot of tread left.
  18. You will not be disappointed with the Shinko 777s. FWIW, someday...when I find my first SVTC, I hope Shinko will make the tire size for those beautiful bikes. If I am not mistaken, the SVTCs are equipped with Bridgestones. Yamaha does like to stick with the brand.

    My new hat

I really need a nice hat. It is starting to get cold in the am this time of the year. [emoji847] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Yes it is. I was a little skeptical on the 777, until I’ve read of other riders that has the 777. These tires are great. I highly recommend on the RSV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Fall temps is finally here in our area. After today and tomorrow’s rain, we will have low 50’s in the morning. To me that is just perfect Fall riding temperature. As you have mentioned, 37° with or without Sun is just fine as long as there is no wind chill factor. Anything over 10 mph of wind in our area below 40° is a ‘No Ride’ for me. 22. Very nice looking trike. Love the color.
  23. Chillin on this end. Rainy Sunday. Planning to put more miles on my ‘07 until I find my future ride - 2018 TC. [emoji1783] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Replaced my front tire, but did not go for a ride [emoji3064]. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. I went to have my front tire mounted this afternoon and had the chance to sit on a 2018 Venture. It is true... the seat is indeed lower than my 07 RSV. The seat is not as soft as my RSV, but I think my sitting position on the ‘18 is similar to my ‘07. I loved everything I saw on the bike. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
