  1. I have Shinko 777 on my RSV now. I am very happy with it and several RSV owners also have them installed on their bike. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks for posting the article, BMW. It gave me some understanding on the mechanism of infection of SARS-CoV-2. To me, it is truly a very aggressive and one thing that is alarming to me is the ability of the virus to remain so deadly to humans even in the warmer climates of the world.
  3. The thrill of 'Living On The Edge'. Impressive I should say. His tires should get the recognition.
  4. Very glad to hear you are doing much better, Don. Rest and be careful when out and about. [emoji2] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. May the Lord Bless Your Brother that he will have a speedy and successful healing. Amen.
  6. Congrats on your new SVTC and I know exactly about the heated seat setting. It can get very toasty, if the set point is high. I think I have mine on 5 and I usually use the lowest setting even if it is 20° during the ride - it still gets warm. [emoji26]. I am closing in to 2K miles and have been enjoying every mile so far. 7. I personally have not used the GPS system on the SVTC, but I will try to get an answer from a good friend who works as a Field Service Advisor / East Region for Yamaha. The next time I see him, I’ll try to get any information I can get regarding the infotainment system especially the GPS. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Sorry to hear your ride has been cancelled. We all know the decision is hard for them to make, but if it is to save lives - it is worth canceling such event. I’ve been riding here as well even if it is just going to and from work. We are in the health care business, so there are ok plans of shutting down our plant in Maryland. Since last week, I’ve only seen one rider on the road despite the nice temps on certain days. Not too much traffic on the roads over here. Always Ride Safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I am praying that hopefully by June or earlier, we can go back to our normal routine in life. For my consolation, ride the bike to and from work yesterday and grocery stores are starting to have more items on their shelves, but the buying frenzy is still not over yet. Sam’s club - they are only allowing 15 people at a time inside their store - so I just left and will go back another day. [emoji40] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Rode to and from work today. I'll be taking advantage of this warm temps tomorrow. Ride Safe.
  11. Health officials are saying that ‘we’ have not even reached the peak of the curve yet. This is very alarming to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I just filled up the bike yesterday and I paid $2.74 for Premium in Maryland.
  13. https://images.homedepot-static.com/productImages/5b965652-ad55-4336-a87c-0ac89be1a48c/svn/dewalt-inflators-dcc020ib-64_1000.jpg This is available at our local store. Ordered it yesterday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Mine has 2 locks as well. I am just a little disappointed since my 07 has a better helmet lock than the ‘18, but that is just a minor issue. Anyway, I use the lock rarely since the 18 has a huge truck. Perhaps contact your dealership and mention to them that I you only got one wire hook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    tires

I put 37 psi on the front and 40 psi on the rear tire.
  16. I agree. The mountains are the best location for a ride these days. I am still wondering why West Virginia has no reported case of COVID-19. Enjoy your rides. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. At any rate, I am settled with the Dewalt pump Max20V Lithium Ion. I like its performance on the review and I have several battery 20V Max 6 amp packs on hand already. Thanks all for your input. [emoji54] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. To be honest, I am not sure if I can go for another 2 months like this. I simply want to walk in a grocery store and just buy what I need. Not being able to dine out or watch a movie or go somewhere is just not living. Someday and time will tell, we will be infected by the Corona virus and God forbid that I can survive the infection. I'll be hunkering in the house all day, but at least we all can get to ride as we wish. Ride Safe and keep washing your hands.
  19. I think I can just tow that.
  20. That looks very nice and it comes with its own small bag for storage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I am a strong believer of superstitious beliefs. [emoji18] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. During this National Emergency and CDC’s health guidelines, I’ll be spending more time indoors - so I might as well do some online shopping. As far as bike air pump and plug kit is concerned that I can carry with me, what most of you recommend that is proven to be the most reliable for years to come... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. With all due respect, I don’t see the importance and significance of having a temperature gauge on the air cooled SVTC. I am not an engineer nor have any clear knowledge of the Yamaha engine and intricacies of its technology. FWIW, LongHaulPaul has rode 100K miles with no major engine issues in less than 2 years - so no worries. Yamaha engine is tough and can withstand some abuse. IMO, if the SVTC engine will ever overheat - your legs will be over cooked long before you realize it is already overheating. [emoji4][emoji2][emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Praying for your speedy recovery, Don. Don’t forget your medications and do get A LOT of Rest. [emoji120][emoji120][emoji120] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. LOL on Toilet paper. We all need to realize that there is no food shortage in the US. No to this.... [emoji851] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
