  1. I visit both sites. I truly prefer here. You get a whole lot more for a Buck a month.
  2. I like it Don! Very nice bike.
  3. There is a little bit of a learning curve every time you hop on a different bike, but with your experience, you should have no problems at all adapting to the Venture. As a consolation, I am 5'5" and I have no problems whatsoever riding my '07. The newer SVTCs is just so easy to ride as well...ride as much as you can, to keep your riding skills up to par.
  4. This reminds me...my membership must be getting close to be renewed.
  5. You are gonna love those Shinko 777's. I have them on my '07 with no complaints. I am over 10K miles on my rear and still have a lot of tread left. Today, rode the RSV to and from work. It is a great feeling to be back on the bike.
  6. ...and we all know, LongHaulPaul added 55,000 more miles with no major problems. He was changing oil every 10K miles. As for my SVTC, I am closing in on 4,000 miles - not much yet since I've also been adding miles on my '07 RSV. No problems so far...
  7. Two thumbs up on Custom Dysnamics LED lights. I installed LED lights all around my '07 RSV 13 years ago...LEDs last for a long time...
  8. Knock on wood, so far so good. Almost 4000 miles and will do the next oil change next weekend.
  9. There is one thing I am looking that is on your bike. Love your passenger foot boards.
  10. It could have also been your right leg...am very glad to hear you are ok and still able to ride home. As mentioned before, the insurance company might end up totaling it. I am hoping they will agree to fix it this time.
  11. I still have my '07 and stayed with the OEM size front tire as well. I didn't really want to change its riding characteristics as well as piece of mind. Shinko 777 for her. Time will tell, when Shinko 777 front tire will be available for the Eluder and SVTC. I think the rear is already available for purchase at your favorite motorcycle store.
  12. Glad to hear you and your wife are ok after the collision. Heal well.
  13. I got the chance to change oil and its final drive oil on my '07 the other day. It has been sitting in the garage for 2 months since I've been using the SVTC a lot lately just riding to a from work. It turned out to be a little bit of a learning curve after getting off the SVTC and back to the RSV, but I am so glad to take her out with me to work and she knows that I have not forgotten her.
  14. I have Shinko on my '07 and I am very happy with its performance. My rear has almost 10K miles with a lot of tread left. From what I read about its history, it used to be owned by Yokohama and the business was sold to become the Shinko company today. They focus more on the powersports market especially motorcycle tires. Make in Korea with strict QC and advance Japanese technology in the manufacture of their tires....so I have no problem installing this brand on my SVTC when the time comes.
  15. I have the 5 gallon version of yours. They are really spill proof spouts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. No leisure riding for me for the past month and a half. I get to ride to and from work and my wife is perfectly fine with it. Today - rode to work and will do so for the next couple of days. Ride Safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I'm sorry to hear the bad news. It is the most empty feeling one can imagine. I feel you. I've been laid off from work once in my life and I pray and hopefully it never happens again. This is also a difficult time to find employment since there are not a lot of companies hiring with a restricted economy. Lean to your family and fill them with smiles and talks of good times. Have a real nice dinner at home with your loved ones, etc. We are in this together and I am optimistic the economy will rebound stronger and sooner. Regards.
  18. I hope this is just temporary due to a slow economy. I have a J&S Jack and I think they warranty their jacks for a lifetime, if I am not mistaken. They are truly well built motorcycle jacks. I've had mine for about 12 years now.
  19. I get real hungry reading the posts. I also have several cast iron pans at home and most if not all retain heat very well. They say the hotter the pan, the better it is before putting down the steak. Tis the time for grilling.
  20. Very Nice
  21. Got the same email as well. I'll take any discount from GEICO. Drive and Ride Safe.
  22. Yes I agree. Can’t be under any influence especially when I am working on my own machine or simply washing dishes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hope her test is negative. Stick to your faith for strength. Fight it mentally. Be Safe.
  24. The science behind the mode of infection of COVID 19 is much more significant compared to TB. It is a rapid killer and hard to manage. There is no vaccine and medication treatment is still up in the air. TB is still a very deadly microbe that also needs special attention. IMO, a virus [emoji3083] is harder to treat than bacteria.
