  1. Those are impressive lights for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If you are worried about the heat emanated by the bulb and lifespan, LED is truly going to be your best choice. I've had good luck with Sylvanias so far. That is why I keep my receipt for warranty purposes.
  3. I am the same way, I didn't want to upgrade my passing lights as well if I switch to a different head light setup. I suggest a Sylvania Ultra Bright light bulbs which may cost more than a regular Sylvania lamp. I have seen the difference in brightness on my automobiles and am very happy with them. So far, my '07 is still running its original headlamp from the day I bought her brand new. When the time comes to replace my moto lamp, Sylvania Ultra brights will be my first choice.
  4. Ensure yourself that you are not low in clutch fluid and it is always beneficial to keep your fluid fresh and clean. I am no clutch expert...it could be a spring problem - just speculating. Now that we are talking about this type of issue, I remember talking to a co- worker and he was complaining about his gold wing...once in gear - it slips out of gear during hard acceleration. I am sure others will chime in later and give you better advise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Very nice scenery. You have nature and exotic cars. Those high end cars are for sure fun to see on the road. During Pre-Covid times, we went to Pittsburgh and it happened to be a meet and greet thing for car enthusiasts at one of their popular big malls. One section of the parking lot was filled with Lambos and Porches and Ferraris...you name it they were there. It was my only chance to be up close and personal for a machine I’ll never own in my lifetime. LoL Btw, I simply gave my RSV and complete wipe down. Looking forward to ride after today’s rain. 6. Not on my ‘07. This is the first time I’ve heard of such occurrence. I am leaning towards an issue on the clutch mechanism. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I went to visit our local NAPA store this morning and inquired about their current oil sales. Right now up until the end of this month of September, regular oil is on sale. For October, the Full Synthetic NAPA oil will go on sale and only the 5 qt jugs priced a little over $15 dollars each. Their 1 qt full synthetic oil will not be on sale...time to stock up on this end.
  8. Perhaps I should fix my snowblower before winter sets. This way, we might not get any [emoji3587] snow at all. [emoji3] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Weather must be nice over there in Kentucky since you are down south. Not sure if you get snow or not.

    Vogel 2021

I don't know anything about Vogel Rally, but I am interested to read and know more about the ride. Could someone post more information on 'Vogel 2021' in the Rides and Rallies section and perhaps I can plan ahead and be part of the experience next year.
  11. He didn’t have enough layers of clothing anyway. Mother Nature saved his day. LOL Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. My condolences to Zagger's family. ....RIP Zagger
  13. Still haven’t had the chance to stop by NAPA. Work is always on the way, but I haven’t seen anything in Napaonline.com regarding oil sales. The last time I bought oil in bulk, it was priced at 2.20 per qt. Perhaps sales are exclusive only at participating stores. I shall find out this weekend. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I am excited!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. There are a good number of riders that want to try the loud rumble on their bikes. Then after a few years or so, they go back to stock mufflers. I prefer the latter.
  16. Yep. I have stock pipes on my ‘07 ever since she had 1 mile on the odometer. To put in perspective, you’ll be able to enjoy your music as you ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I also try to keep an eye on sales from Napa. On this end, I only like the oil and I have my preference of oil filter. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be on my way to Napa in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. It has been a constant lookout every time I ride. I ride 4 to 6 times per week and the sight of road debris on side roads and highways are just never ending. From 'road kills' to 'peeled off rubber tires' (I think they are called crocodiles...) to miscl. stuff, we always have to be on the look out. Two of my most recent close call on road debris is a construction barrel on the fast last along a 2 lane interstate coming to a curve and there it was...right in the middle of the fast lane at 6 in the morning. The other one was when I made a left turn towards the ramp...there it was, 2 nails that looked like roofing nails. This could have ended my ride for the day. Fortunately, my ride to work today is uneventful. Ride Safe.
  19. I always have to remind myself before and after each and every ride. "Just Let It Go." Stay on the safe side and enjoy more and more rides along the way.
  20. I am also looking forward to do a weekend ride in the PA area, but I may have to wait for 2 or 3 more weeks before we can see beautiful Fall colors in the mountains. Fall is for sure my favorite season of the year. Glad you had a great time.
  21. First of all, I got to have gloves when I ride. Heated grips can be hot enough to the touch.
  22. I wonder if the video was even presented in court, if there was one.
  23. I have a feeling this coming winter is going to be a lot more snow event, which does not sound good since I ride all year long.
  24. It is true. No matter how long you’ve been riding, I still learn something new every day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. There are a lot of aftermarket grill guards out there for the 2nd gens. It might be an easier install, if you still can find a genuine Yamaha grill guard for sale. I am also in search of one. [emoji40] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
