  1. I've used Walmart oil on my vehicles with no problems for thousands of miles. I have never seen a SuperTech oil that says motorcycle oil. Is there one for sure? I'll have to make a trip to the motor oil isle on of these days. Now I am thinking of moving from Mobil Synthetic Moto Oil to Dino Motorcycle Oil on the SVTC for my next oil change. Maybe. Just Maybe.
  2. I've been shopping around for a new winter jacket. I currently have a leather Joe Rocket jacket and it has served me well, but it is looking too old on the exterior especially on shoulder area. I was thinking of switching from Leather to Fabric type of jacket. Any recommendations? There is so many selections to consider...
  3. I can be quiet, when I am in a critical thinking mode. 😃
  4. Lately, just riding to and from work. Nothing really far away from home. This trend will continue up to 3 months from now and perhaps beyond that time on my end. If weather breaks for the better for only a day or so during the winter months, I may want to ride farther away from home for some serious wind therapy.
  5. It didn't mention where was the lighter found. Any idea where?
  6. That was a lot of work to restore a lighter. Nice video.
  7. I double checked. Looks accurate.
  8. The pics did not disappointment me. Excellent use of low light and shutter speed and aperture settings, etc. I am impressed...no camera shake. 🙂👍
  9. @cowpucThanks for posting the videos. So nice to learn and see the engine cutaways.
  10. I am glad @Lloyd posted this thread. It reminded me to check my rear shock air pressure. I normally would pump it up around 38-40.
  11. I wonder what it is called on the SVTC and Eluder.
  12. I have not replaced one on this end also, but if you are going to replace that large piece of aluminum, you will have to perhaps replace and order a gasket as well. Just speculating. There might be several bolts that you will have to torque to recommended spec. See what Yamaha recommends to replace. If there is a gasket, go ahead and replace it. The job looks to be straighforward. Good Luck.
  13. I am hoping he still has some items for sale. Just emailed him - looking for accessories for my ‘07 RSV.
  14. Glad you and Eileen had a great time at the lake. Very nice and relaxing. Thanks for sharing your pics.
  15. Wish I can experience Biketoberfest at least once in my lifetime. Have fun.
  16. I mowed yesterday. Fertilizer is going down on Tuesday before the rain. 😂
  17. Your son might be able to get away with it for a few years, but when it is time to renew the permit...is another situation he will have to deal with.
  18. Rode the SVTC for most of last week and have been riding the RSV for most of this week. Weather has been great for any ride for the next 7 days. Maintenance is coming up for my RSV.
  19. I also saw that from another social media yesterday. Looks like a very bad accident with 6 ambulances responded to the scene. My prayers to all that have been affected. Cars on the road are slowly starting to increase in volume now that more people are returning back to work, so we all have to more vigilant as ever. Ride safe and always watch your speed.
  20. Glad to see I am also not alone. I have not fertilized yet, but this weekend is looking very promising. Weather is so nice this time in November. 2 more cuts before I put away the tractor.
  21. I read about that too. Good for me, I guess. I am still riding even when temps are in the low 30s. It just feels great. I’ll take whatever chance I can to ride and I especially will not be so sad if I don’t get to use my snowblower this winter season. Ride safe and don’t forget to turn on the heat. 😃
  22. @RDawson Honestly, it is not bad. With your short windshield, I can see it can make your ride more comfortable. Really liking the vents.
  23. That is a really nice addition to any bike especially if you are a taller rider.
  24. It is coming.
  25. @ecbaatzI’ll message you. Thank You. 😃
