Try sending a PM to Fly-N-Lo, he had a set that he took off of his bike. He probably will part with them.

Duhhhh, bought a lot of what?

If you haven't been there Eck, you really need to go! It's just on the east side of the bridge. Cedar Bluff is probably about half way between us. Here is a map.

Looks like Charlie. But who's his chick?

So, Charlie; How much ice did you catch?!?!?

Man, when do you find time to go jogging? I know you're not jogging before you go to work!!! I reckon Julie is taking good care of you. Milk this for all it's worth! Heal up quick, Dude!

I had been smelling antifreeze off and on for a few days. Then, as lonestarmedic and I stopped for gas on his way out of town, I had steam coming up. I went home and pulled the radiator cover off and ran it up to temp. Sure enough, it was oozing out the fins in front. I thought about calling a rad shop to see what they would charge to fix it, or make a post similar to mother's. Then I remembered that I had a tube of AlumaSeal sitting around. Thought "What the heck!" and put about a quarter of it in, fired it up and rode. I left the cover off for a couple of days and so far, a week later, it's holding. I hope it will stay good, if not, I'll be coming back here!

Skid calls his Brown Sugar, mine is just Road Sofa, the gold (Aztec Gold, I think) is the same, but ours are actually black with a red metal flake! (I worked for UPS, I've had enough Brown!!!) Either way, 86 was the prettiest/fastest! There have to be a bunch more out there!

Had lunch at Fibbers in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, on Lake Weiss, yesterday. It's a great down home cooking buffet that has excellent food and maybe the worlds best banana pudding. They serve it hot and it is........indescribable! A friend and I did about 300 miles r/t yesterday just to have lunch there. (Oh Yeah, I forgot who I'm talking to here, not such a big deal to this group ) Anyway, we got there just ahead of the crowds and by the time we left there were lots of folks. And as usual there were a number of bikers there. As we started to ride away I noticed a blue 2nd gen. I didn't take time to go back in and ask everyone who owned it but I did leave a VR.O card. I was just wondering if it was anybody that is a regular on here. Hey Eck, you know everyone in Al, who might it have been ? You know......one day we need to do a M&E at Fibbers! ummmmmmm We also rode through Little River Canyon and East Rim Drive. The falls were beautiful and the trees were still at their peak, so we peeked. Here is a picture of the falls, not as we saw them yesterday, but a picture from the web. They weren't running this hard, but they were running. You coud walk out to the edge. I forgot my camera. (:~

At first I thought maybe I had two of the same but after closer inspection I found that one has the tab for the center stand stop and the other doesn't. So I have a right and a left. Good luck finding the mis-match! And they sure are SHINY! Now I can hardly wait to put them on and hear them!!!

I had one of those on my 650 Maxim about 6 years ago and my friends all complained that it was too hard to tell the difference between regular flashing/spinning and braking flash. They rode me so hard about it that I got rid of it. They may have been right. I've since noticed on other bikes that they are hard to differentiate unless you are watching it when it goes from spinning to flashing.

We got up this morning and had a 34 degree ride for some of the best biscuits in town. JB had biscuit and gravy while I had what has been named in my honor a "Lethal Biscuit". That's sausage, egg, cheese, mustard, onion and jalapeño! UMMMMMM good! About 10am it was up to 45 degrees and I led him out to I75 and pointed him towards I20. He's on his way to Dallas; probably stopping in Jackson, Ms. tonight. He tried to bribe me into going with him for a weekend in Texas and it was tempting, but I'm still riding on the tires I put on just before Vogel III and with 13k miles already on them, I'm not sure the back has 2k left in it!

Hey, Man! You gotta tell everything you know?!?! That turn lane ran out and the sidewalk looked like a reasonable alternative, until I saw there was room to turn beside the truck. Good, albeit chilly, ride tonight! Gotta love those impromptu Meets & Eats! (Even w/o DQ )
