  1. I'm getting a 404 Error on that link, Jack!
  2. A while back someone posted a video or a link to a video of a lady dancing with her dog. It was one of the best I've seen. The dog danced on it's hind legs a lot (Conga line style) as well as all the spins and stuff. I've been looking for the post and can't find it. Does anyone remember it or who posted it? I want to send it to a friend that sent me [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqbVbPvlDoM]this link[/ame] and the other one smokes this! I know someone with a better memory than mine has to remember it. Thanks (For some reason I'm thinking that Eck posted it, but he's sleeping right now )
  3. Congrats on your new grandbaby, Lewis! Tell Charlene I'm praying for her and your daughter.
  4. Sounds like some good upgrades, JB. I need to do the fuseblock as well. Thanks for fixing my connector. Have a Merry Christmas! BTW, The girls in the house want to know what cologne/aftershave you were wearing the morning you were here. They said they could smell it in the hall after you left and really liked it. I said it was probably High Karate! They didn't buy it!
  5. I don't think Redneck has ever been OK!?!
  6. Another safety issue is that (I believe) one way the cruise control cut off is controlled is by the brake light. So as well as turning the cruise off, you were riding with the brake light on. If you had to stop suddenly, drivers behind you wouldn't know! You need to watch out for that with you right foot on the highway peg.
  7. If you are talking about the Yuasa, I would recommend against it! Although Yuasa denies it, they are known for instantaneous, catastrophic failure. It has happened to me twice with their batteries. You start out on a nice ride, battery strong and you stop someplace, shut off the bike, then when you go to start it you have nothing! No battery at all! Just nothing! I won't own another Yuasa! No way, No how, No matter what! Not even if it were free!
  8. I have heard that there are some places in Nevada that must specialize in this sort of thing. http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_1_25.gif I believe they are called "Cat Houses". Maybe you should visit one, Scotty, and see if they can help you take care of your problems!
  9. It's been pretty chilly here; this morning I was riding, it was 29 degrees and only got up to 53 this afternoon! Don't feel bad David, I did find a picture of E-Fishin-C's driveway!
  10. Hey Don, if it feels tight in the chest.....LOOSEN YOUR BRA!!! Seriously, Hope you get feeling better! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_12.gifhttp://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15/15_6_25.gif
  11. Jeff, if you don't have any other luck, FlatOut shows them for $49.97 on their website (click here). Use the drop down menu for your bike then use the menu under "AIR FILTER" and go to the "FENDER" page, it's #3, they call it "mascot".
  12. See, I bet Riderduke would tote you home bi*ch, Eck!
  13. Looks like it would be a mess in the rain!
  14. NICE! I really liked the video!
  15. Thank You, James! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_11_2.gif
  16. Got mine today and all I can say is: Freakin' AWWWWWESOME !!! Thanks Don!
  17. Ok, my '86 1st gen only has 5 thousand on the odo. But this is a picture I took in early Sept of this year. I know that due to the sun's angle it looks like 10000 but trust me, it is really 00000. The dealer's sign has nothing to do with this thread, but I couldn't resist.....I LOVE IT!
  18. I paid $80 for my one year pass this summer before my trip and it paid for itself. In fact it paid for itself at Yellowstone alone. We stayed in Cody for a few days and to go anywhere west you have to go through the park. It's 20 bucks even to pass through. We went through there 5 times, so I was happy! $10 for life would be a great price!?!? I got mine online at nps.gov. I bet you could get the senior pass there too. If I were you, Jack, I'd grab it. Unfortunately I'm still waaaaaayyyyyyy too young!
  19. I used something that my friend brought. I think it was called SylGlide, but that might have been for something else?! Sorry I can't recall for sure. Of all the things I have lost, it's the my mind I miss the most!
  20. Hey Lowell, that's one thing you don't need any practice on!!!
  21. Let's see......Chicago has theirs, West By God Virginia has theirs......I guess mine oughtta be here manana!
  22. The first picture is the trunk after my crash and why I rode without a trunk for a while! This is the only picture of my bike (the Yama-King) without the trunk. It's an interesting look!
  23. You don't have to take the lines off. With the slave loose and just hanging (a pain in itself!) the clutch push rod comes right out. To get the seal out I tried a screwdriver and dental pics to no avail, I was afraid of scarring the case so I borrowed a tool from a friend that looks like a 10" long tapered allen with a short 90 degree angle on the thin end (the tool, not my friend!). I called it his nose picker! If you go to FlatOut and go to the clutch, #24 is the oil seal. It's a rubber seal with, like a metal insert and spring. I looked it up on the 91 schematic, it's the same as the 86. Here are a couple of pictures. I don't know how to put all those fancy arrows and circles on them, but the first shows the middle gear for reference and the second shows a closer view of the seal. It is the lower of the two round holes. This is after I have been digging at it and you can see the metal of the seal. The upper hole is for the slave cyl. bolt. I didn't have a correct size socket handy to press it in with (too lazy to get up off the floor and grab one!) so I just gently persuaded it with a punch around the edges until it was seated. I now have about 3k miles with a "non-smoker"! (Before I fixed it I went to Dragonrider's. He said he saw me pull up, but then I disappeared in a cloud of smoke!) Hope this helps, Jack!
  24. Are the panels color matched, Jack? Sure would like to see some pics.
  25. Only you Lowell, you silver tongued devil you! I'd think NOT having a broken foot and/or leg would be pretty valuable!!! Seriously, nice save! It's always a good idea to get your feet on the pegs asap; grass, gravel or pavement.
