  1. Schweeeeeet, Dude!!! Can't wait to see the AR II!!!
  2. . .
  3. Glad you were 3 wheelin' it this time, Muffy. Things would have gotten really squirrely if you were 2 wheelin' it! Happy it worked out OK.
  4. Sherry, it's hard to find any words that have not already been said. The pain now is a fresh opening of the wound, but it won't last as long this time. I promise. You have done well in looking after the interests of yourself, your boys and Tom's good name. As has been said, you have friends on this site, and thus you have friends all over the world. If we can do anything for you, let us know. I for one, am glad that you are still coming around for visits and haven't forgotten your 6000+ friends! Take care Ladyrider!
  5. Man, Jeff, don't scare us like that! From that title, I was expecting pics of Brad and Tim on the SS Bike together! Geeze, I wouldn't even want to know who was riding b*tch!
  6. http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e138/TMagEnterprises/Extra%20Junk/Squidley-1.jpg From what I can see, this looks like just the alcohol wipe! And all that just to get a little hummingbird on his arm! Both y'all done good! Sorry I couldn't make it.
  7. Oh, man, Mike! That pretty trike trashed! Oh yeah, glad you're OK too!!! Seriously, I ride to work every day at about that same time and have to deal with busy streets, but fortunately only one major left turn. At that time of day I consider the people that are out on the road with me to be sleepy, late for work, putting on makeup, eating a quick breakfast and talking to someone on the phone. Not just one or two of these things, but all of them together! One has to be overly aware. I thought you were living in Jasper but I just noticed Canton on your location? Since I'm right here in Marietta, give me a call if you need anything. My cell # is in my profile. You oughta join us at the Canton Hooters on Thursday nights for Bike Night. I usually get there about 6pm and, since I'm up early for work, I leave by about 8. Again, I'm glad you're not banged up too bad and will be able to ride again soon.
  8. I still have to work Saturdays! I wish I could be there,........looking forward to the PodCast!!! That's OK Bobbie, just make sure George has a bullet for you to bite on! And make sure it's not aimed at the next table, we still need Brad around for the jocularity!!! Y'all have fun and ride safe!!! BTW The front just went thru' here (Atl) but the temps only dropped a few degrees. Rain was rather light. Radar looks like it's moving NE.
  9. I guess, when I was driving a tour bus, I was blue collar (with epaulets). Now that I'm with FedEx, I guess it's.......................purple!
  10. So what's up with the H2O? I have a brother and 2 nephews that fall into that time period. That link didn't shed any light.
  11. I highly recommend getting a National Parks Pass. When I did a trip out west last year the $80 pass payed for itself at Yellowstone alone! We were kind of based in Cody for a few days and to go west from there you have to go thru' the park, it's 20 bucks each time. You are at an advantage because if you are over 62 the pass is only $10 and I think it is good for life. Click "Senior Pass" to get more info. If you have the time, go ahead and do Glacier National Park as well. I recommend doing the Going To The Sun highway from west to east. That puts you on the side for the best views.
  12. Back in the late 80s, my girlfriend and I were going from dinner with my brother, at his cabin on Tablerock Lake in the Ozarks, back to her parent's cabin further around the lake. It was late, dark and about a 40 mile ride in gentle twisties. We were on a Kawi 650 with a sissy bar. I got the tap of the helmet and realized that she was asleep. I woke her up and had her put her hands in my coat pockets. That way, when she fell asleep again, I would be able to tell if she started to lean either way. It worked out well and she slept about half the way home.
  13. I'm gonna be curious to see if anyone has had any luck with this as well, Ben. I've got the same issue.
  14. I was surprised to get mine, but haven't had time to look at it. From what I hear now, I guess I don't need to hurry!!!

    CB usage

In addition to these, VentureRider.org has pretty much standardized on channel 29 when we get together for group rides. That is also what my other friends and I use.

  20. Nice pics! But I think y'all need a few more BlackCherry 1st Gens!!! Sorry that I couldn't make it! Looks like a good time and for a good cause.
  21. Of course he's heard of elk, Bob! He's even seen them and has pictures to prove it!!!
  22. Hey, John, click on a pic, then click outside the pic and it takes you back to the page. Then click on the next pic. I don't know if there is a way to do it as a slide show.
  23. Glad you're OK too, Lou! Well, as OK as you ever were! I bet Beer would fix that up for you at a reasonable price, then you don't even need to repaint!
  24. If Yamaha were to buy the rights, they could put a cassette deck in it!!!
  25. I am looking forward to getting mine! Thanks for the hook-up!
