The fairing looks better with passing lamps. I don't like the vents. I am another chrome lover. I don't like the blacked out look. I do like the 1700 CCs and the side opening bags.

I used to be a member of the FOE in Knoxville, but all we did was drink beer and shoot pool. -

Yeah, kinda like a train wreck. It's horrible, but you can't keep from looking.

I actually had a car pull out and try to hit me in the side. I had my nephew (who is afraid of everything) on the back. I was able to accelerate and swerve a little to avoid being hit. I forgot for a second that my nephew was on the bike with me. I think it scared me more than it did him.

When I drove a truck (30 years ago) I shifted without the clutch. It felt smooth in that old Mack, but it doesn't feel right to me on the bike.

My wife and I bought one of the netbooks to carry on the bike, and it works ok. We were carrying a full sized laptop before and it took up too much room.

You'll love it!! A friend and I rode 2 of them in June, at the bike rally here in Knoxville. I've never felt that kind of power in my life.

It wouldn't matter, since they didn't hook up any radiator hoses, and how did it start? I didn't see any wiring done.

A guy that I know came into work on crutches the other day. Of course, I asked what had happened. He and his wife were riding down the road when a deer appeared in front of him. He tried to swerve and miss it, and at the same time he stuck his left leg out to try to push the deer out of the way. It totalled his bike and broke his leg, but he was able to ride home. Other than that, they were both OK.

I like pipes that have some sound to them, but I don't like them so loud that it disturbs everyone in the county. You hear people say they hate motorcyclists because of what some of them do. A few years ago a biker moved into a house about a quarter mile from me. His bike was so loud it would wake me up every time he came home. It was always in the early morning hours, and he made no attempt to keep from bothering everybody in the neighborhood. He's not there anymore thankfully. The pipes on my Yamaha have some sound to them, but when I leave for work in the morning I try to ride as quietly as I can. I have stock exhaust on the Harley, so I can hear the radio:)

We had the radio on at work. After the first plane hit, I thought "what a freak accident", then the second one hit and I was thinking it's impossible, this can't be happening...
