I bought a Harbor Freight trailer about 10 years ago for hauling mulch and such. It also said not to exceed 55 mph blah blah blah. I've had this thing way overloaded several times. I've had it on the interstate many times way over 55 mph. I've never repacked the bearings (I paid $200 for the thing, I'm going to use it until it breaks). I haul a huge load of mulch with it a couple of times a year and then pull it around the house with the tractor. I've fixed I don't know how many flats on it, but that's all. It's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I'll bet I could get my $200 back out of it today. "You get what you pay for" applies in some instances, but I've been burned many times. See my post on Gerbing heated gloves. I paid more for them than I did for this trailer, and they were defective from day 1.

It's good for the economy... Keep it up!

It may have taken less than a minute to unlock his door, but you had to go where he was. I'll bet if he came out to you and fixed a tooth, even if it took less than a minute, it would be more like $500.

I saw a Harley at the "Wheels through time" museum in Maggie Valley that looked a lot like this one. It had a rear seat just like it too.

I just bought an Ultra a couple of months ago. The market might be flooded, but it's still hard to find any Harley (except a Sportster) below $8000. I looked on Craigslist daily in TN. and surrounding states for a while before I found one that I thought was a good deal. I think even an 88 model would go close to $8000 if it's in good shape.

It's easy to say negative things about anything really, but I think it's great that Americans are still coming up with new inventions, and actually building something. This country became great by being forward thinking and leading the pack. If we give up, sit on our butts, stay the same and let China build everything we buy, we're not going to last much longer.

It's an obvious scam (to me). I look at Craigslist too much I guess. What is it that looks so good about it? It's posted in multiple cities, it's too cheap, they want to ship a car and pay the freight costs. I don' see anything that doesn't look like a scam.

And it's Made in America!

This is the oldest online scam. They've been doing it for years. There is no money in your Paypal, they're just trying to get you for $900. They do it to tons of ads, and if they can dupe a few into responding, they make money off of it. I don't even respond to scammers, I just delete their emails and ignore them.

This ain't even funny. Somebody's been following me around.

I would plug it in a minute. I hate to waste anything.

People are quick to point out others wrongs. They've forgotten how to look at themselves.

Anyone who'd pay a dollar for a bottle of water would believe anything I guess.

Yeah, I paid way more than that for the covers plus the K & N filters that fit under the chrome covers. -
I don't have an opinion, but I do tend to believe what I can see. I sell truck parts at a KW dealership, and we sell Centramatic products. I've gotten feedback from some of my customers that they dramatically improve tire life. Centramatic Wheel balancer is a bolt on ring with weights that works on the same principal as Dyna Beads. An organization I belong to has "Easy does it" for a slogan. When I first got online 15 years ago it was on AOL and you had to have a screen name, so I changed the spelling to Eazyduzzit, and it's been my handle ever since.

You think you're not creative, I have a 14 year old cat named "Kitty".

Where'd that picture come from?

I was riding the Blue Ridge PKWY with some friends a few weeks ago and we passed several guys on bicycles. The bicyclists were following all traffic laws and weren't hurting anyone. We stopped a couple of miles later to rest for a few minutes, and one of the ladies with us out of the blue started talking about how stupid they were for being on the road. From what I could gather, she was pissed off that they even existed. I don't understand why people are so ignorant.

Cassette Deck, why do you have a problem with MORE options?
eazyduzzit replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
Ya think! I really wanted a Venture, but I couldn't make myself buy a bike that the manufacturer itself isn't the least bit interested in. If they were interested in keeping interested buyers, don't you think they would care enough to at least change a feature that has been obsolete for 8 years? -
It's not so much me, I've just noticed that lots of people's questions are met with sarcasm or put downs instead of being helpful.

I've been a member of this sight for a couple of years. I haven't met many of you, but I feel like I know you. The people here are always helpful no matter what you need help with. I recently bought a Harley, and thought I would check out the Harley forums. I won't name the forum, but it seems like no matter what the question over there you always get a lot of sarcastic answers, or are just plain mean to the OP. If someone asks a question about why choose a HD over another brand, you get one of those "If you have to ask, you wouldn't understand" answers. I'm just saying we're luck to have a better class of people here. After reading Eck's "VR saved my life" post, it got me thinking about it. There are lots of things I'd like to learn about the new ride. I'd like to find a forum like this one dedicated to touring Harleys, but I don't know if one exists.

I bought my last rear tire from them. They had the best price on the internet & they shipped it for free. It was here in 2 days after I placed the order. I have nothing but good to say about them.

I have an Ultra Classic, and it may be different from an RSV I'm not sure. When my wife and I are using the intercom if I adjust the VOX all the way, so conversation is automatic (instead of having to push the PTT button. I get lots of static. If I turn the VOX down a little everything is fine except we have to push to talk which is a PIA. Can anybody shed some light on what might be the problem?
