On the Universal Finger Grip shown in the video, it just shows the phone holder and not how it'd attach to the bike. I'd like to attach a smart phone to my new to me 06 RSV. What's the best way to mount such a holder...???

The one that gets me every once in a while on my first gen is when I accidentally hit the stop button and it takes me a minute or two to figure why it won't crank when I try to start it.

I just ordered parts from Skydoc for the double spring and extra disc setup. I haven't noticed mine slipping, but it doesn't feel like a very positive engagement. I like to know that if I release the lever, it's gonna grab quick and solid. Looking forward to having decent enough weather to pull the bike out of the shed and do a few upgrades. Thanks Earl !!!

ME TOO !!! ME TOO !! I didn't know they were available. I just bought my 2nd gen (06 /Black Cherry) at the end of the season, and would like to address any problem issues before I start ridin'. Lemme know if there's a bypass setup available.

Tell me about it. 99% of the work I do is on roofs. It gets pretty cold up there; especially when I have to do intricate work where I gotta take the gloves off.

Been there done that. How about rummaging around to find glasses that are in your hand. How about getting mad because you've gone out to the car and back twice, looking for the cell phone that's clipped to your belt. ......sigh.....

If it was legal here, I don't know that I'd ever use it, but I think that if you can grow it in your back yard, harvest it and smoke it, the gubment should have no say in what you with it. I wouldn't be comfortable with all drugs being legal, but I think it's an over reach of government to have made it illegal thus far. No skin off my nose either way, but I'm all for anything that creates greater individual liberties.

I don't carry often, but when I do it's either a Taurus 40Smith, if I have heavy clothes on, or a Smith Bodyguard .380 if I'm dressed light.

Situational awareness is the key. (And packin' a .45 doesn't hurt either)

I'll see if I can pull the seat and give it a proper charge, and mount the tender pigtail on the battery tomorrow. I went in the shed for another reason, and thought I'd try to start her up and let her run for a bit. When she wouldn't start, I just happened to think of the aux power port, and thought it may be an easy way to put a slow charger on it. I still have about 4 or 5 extra tenders in a box. I put them on everything that sits, but never got around to putting one on the RSV. Thanks for the input.

Would there be any reason why I couldn't make an adaptor to charge the battery on my 06 through the 12v accessory port? (cigarettte lighter) This would be a 2 amp charge. It's crammed in my (heated) 10 x 14 pump shed, along with my first gen, and I don't have much room to work on it, but, since I got it at the end of the season last year, I never took the time to put a float charger hookup on it and when I tried to start it today, the battery didn't have enough ummph to get 'er goin. I want to put a charge on it, but was looking for an easy way to do it.

Dude.....you have way too much time on your hands. (I'd be curious to see what ya come up with) PS: It seems like it'd be pretty easy to wire up an indicator through a current sensor. Just sayin'
