  1. Until I came across this on Craigslist. Tempted to buy it just to tinker with it. https://columbus.craigslist.org/for/d/flymo-hover-mower/6625167639.html
  2. Read thru the thread, and didn't see anyone question the shocks / springs, or steering head bearing. Just axing if that could be the issue....don't want to suffer from tunnel vision here. Just sayin'
  3. Thanks Randy.....You Rock !!! This forum is my go to for pretty much everything.
  4. Sent ya a pm with my e-mail. Thanks a bunch !!!
  5. Must be floating around in cyber space, looking for my computer.
  6. Checked my e-mail, but nothing came through yet. I'm not sure what you mean when you say you sent it via this forum.
  7. I've a Sherwood RX-4130 stereo amplifier / receiver at the cabin, that I put in last year, and my brother just called complaining 'cause he can't figure out how to tune it. I told him I'd see if I can find a manual for it and print it out, but everywhere I look requires that you register, and my ESET keeps blocking all the sites as malicious. Do any of you smart 'puter folks know how to get said manual without putting my 'puter at risk?
  8. Yessir....she's a beauty!!! Congrats!!!
  9. Thanks for the pics. Thinking of you guys......I'd REALLY like to be there with ya, but I just can't get away right now. I guarnadamntee I'll be there next year.:crying: Have fun, will see ya next year.
  10. Kevin and family will be in my thoughts...prayers up...
  11. My brother in Southern Florida has a problem with Iguanas eating his plants, and the neighbors, and everyone else's. They're like rats down there, although a lot bigger. He has a bada$$ pellet rifle with a scope that does the trick.
  12. On my way to work, about 5 miles from home there's an S curve that had gravel strewn across it. The straightaways on both ends of the curve were clear, and it occurred to me that a biker coming into that curve, thinking the road was clean was gonna bite it. I called the State (ODOT) and told them about it, and when I was on my way home I was happy to see it clear. It looked like they took a street sweeper to it. Kudos to ODOT.
  13. IMHO, the Black Cherry made in 06 is the nicest color, and it seems like all the coolest people ride Black Cherry. I must also say that the pillow top seats found on the 06 will make your posterior quite cozy. A bike is like a woman,....you gotta go after the one that gets your blood goin'. For my part, I looked them... (bikes).... over for a while and decided that I wanted a Black Cherry with the pillow tops and waited until I found one. That's the one that did it for me. I probably paid a tad more than I should have for it, but it was exactly what I was looking for so I didn't mind. Best of luck to ya !
  14. I'll be thinking of him tomorrow, with a prayer and lots of love and positive thoughts. He seems to be a special little guy.
  15. Love this forum. Since I'd bought my Expedition, I occasion an Expy forum. I checkout the posts, especially when I'm looking for info, but couldn't help but notice that those folks aren't so kindly to one another. Seems like they're willing to tolerate insults to one another, which is a real turn off. Anyhoo, I've been hanging around here for going on 10 years now, and must say the people who frequent this site are more like family than like adversaries. Heck, a friendly pi$$ing match can be fun if done in the spirit of fun and entertainment, but when you take it too seriously it stops being fun. Thank all of you for being you. My friends, my family.
  16. You have my deepest sympathies. Like Don said, those who aren't pet people may not understand, but our pets are like our children. I lost one last August way too early, and fear I'll be losing another one soon. (17 yrs old) I believe that we WILL be reunited with them one day.

  18. I see you're from Y-town. I spent the first 35 years of my life there. Grew up across the street from Pemberton Park. Graduated from Wilson, (Class of 80). I'm not sure that I'll be able to make it this year, but if I do I'll have to look ya up.
  19. Wow....I'm at a loss... He was quite an interesting character. I've met him a few times and was fascinated by the stories he'd tell. I'm sure that he's in a better place, and will be with us in spirit. Ride on Dan. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
  20. I was on a roof all day, in the rain, changing out a rooftop HVAC unit. 480 volt 3 phase, and EVERYTHING was dripping wet. When I was ready to start it up, I closed up all the panels, stood aside of the electrical compartment and threw the switch. I was quite pleased that nothing arc flashed. I was able to cautiously put it through the paces to make sure everything worked,....talk about a puckered butthole.
  21. When I first decided to get a full dresser, I was thinking I would like to try a Goldwing. I wanted to get an older one because of the lower cost, and also because I wasn't sure I'd like it. I did quite a bit of research and mostly because of the performance and styling I decided that I was going to buy a Venture, and from said research, I got the impression that the 87 and 88 models were the most trouble free, so that's what I went with. I dunno what the difference would be that would make those years give the impression that they're more reliable, but I went with it. I bought an 87 that I enjoyed for 5 years before adding an 06 to the stable. I love the performance of the 87, but the comfort and look of the 06 is tough to beat.
  22. GREAT BIKE I have one sitting in the shed that needs some TLC, been sitting for about 10 years now, and waiting until I have the time to bring her back. When I was young, riding my CB750F, I thought they were pretty cool bikes for old timers. Got one that was running but had a stud pulled from the head at one of the exhaust ports. I picked up another head for it and did nothing further. She's on the list, along with my 69 Chevelle and my once beloved 77 Chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 pickumup. I figure that if nothing else, when I retire I'll spend the first year tinkering and bringing them back. As far as the CB900,....Those were some runnin' machines.
  23. Well, that sucks......
  24. Wife was doing ours with Turbo Tax, but still was always a hassle so last year we went to a local Tax service and got $2k more back, and he even offers beer / pop / coffee while you wait. Takes about a half hour...Files us separately He's our guy now. Best 150 smackers I ever spent.
  25. Lisa is urging me to go....I argued the point but she insists..... I'm sayin' maybe....as long as Dad doesn't take a turn for the worse.
