    I have spent the morning looking through threads on LED turn signal options for my 2000 RSV. I already have the plug and play LED tail/brake light from Custom Dynamics, so am looking to upgrade the turn signals from there as well. I was trying to determine the standard bulb in the back and front turn signals now and couldn't get the bulb out. It's cold here and the rubber housing is like concrete. However, the signal casing indicates "USA #1156 #1157" on the front and back. Looking on the Custom Dynamics site, these appear to be two different bulbs requiring a different LED equivalent. I think that I would like amber on the front as regular turn signals and red on the back that would also double as running lights. Custom also has "New Moon Shinez" white driving lights/turn signals. Are these legal as turn signals if they are white (it says you need the smoked or clear lense cover)? Anyone have these? Earlier discussions on blink rate have talked about using load equalizers front and back but as I understand it they do accumulate heat and do not reduce the current load. Would a "Metric Signal Stabilizer" be a better solution? Suggestions as to what I should order would be appreciated. Thanks.

    As I am sure Freebird is aware, The Dominion of Canada did not become a reality until July 01, 1867, and therefore it couldn't have been 'Canadians' who discovered the great game of hockey. However, it was the same people in the same environment that originated, crafted, improved and played what is now the fastest most exciting sport enjoyed by many today.     Thank you for some ideas to persue. Below was the result of the PayPal resolution center attempt. Somewhat disappointing but I guess we live and learn. Non-receipt dispute - #PP-783-659-969 Status This dispute closed because it was opened for more than 45 days after the transaction date or did not meet other filing criteria. I guess I won't be ordering from Harber's Cycle again. Thanks again for your assistance. Jdix

    I ordered (and paid for) the 'Big Mirrors' for my Venture from 'thecycleking' which, as I understand it, represent Harber's Cycle. The purchase was made on ebay and paid with paypal. That was some two months ago. So far there has been no product, no answer to my emails (X4) and they haven't answered their phone (X2). I also completed the ebay resolution procedure which said that my complaint has been filed but that appears to be as far as that goes. It is not my intent to sully this company's reputation, as hopefully this is a unique situation and a simple mistake, but I am not sure of how to proceed next. Their reputation on ebay appears to be stellar. Has anyone here dealt with Harber's Cycle recently? Suggestions? Thanks. Jdix

    Thanks for the replies. It would seem that most of you like to run them in daylight and that is what I would like to do as well. So...for a non-electrician type is there a relatively easy method to make the switch from on with high beam to on with regular beam or is it more of a dealer fix? Thanks. Jdix

    My passing lights are set to be off with the headlight on normal. They come on with the high beam selected, which is rarely used with my driving. Is there an easy way to change this so that the passing lights are on all the time? Could this contribute to a charging problem? How do most of you run them? Thanks. Jdix

    Thanks Gunkylump. I went to the Harley dealer in Whitby and found a set for the cost of shipping. Any suggestions to acquire the clamp/attaching device required for the Venture differences? Previous postings mentioned a device sold here in the classified adds but I could not find anything recent. Cheers. Jdix

    After extensive research (thanks to this site and the expertise within) I would like to obtain some Road King pipes for my 2nd gen. The problem is that although they seem to be plentiful in the USA for around $30+, to get them north of the border I am looking at an addition $150. Has anyone north of the border found a reasonable source or perhaps know of some available that won't break the bank? Thanks, Jdix

    During a ride on my 2nd gen today, it occurred to me that the rear view mirrors are kind of small and insignificant for such a fabulous masculine machine. Has anyone replaced the originals with something that is functional, good looking and clear viewing? Thanks. Jdix.
