Hey Dave: Have a great trip. Hope the weather co-operates for you guys. Just came back from Thunder bay,saw lots of bikes and it rained pretty hard at times. Not many bridges on 17 Hwy to hide under. Ride safe, tell Bernie to take lots of pictures and we will get together when you get back.

Wow! Thanks for posting this trip Evan. Love reading it and the pictures are great. It is bringing back good memories of our trip to Newfoundland as we saw many of the same places in your blog. Hope the weather stays good for the rest of your trip and stay safe. Hope to see you when you return.

New clutch upgrade install at Freebird's MD
relic replied to dogman's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Congrats Dave. Glad it fixed the issue you explained to me earlier. So next time I do the clutch and change all the plates I know who to call!!!! -
So so sorry to hear this news Steve. We will keep you in our prayers and hope this can turn itself around to regain your health. We met you once in Vogel and we really enjoyed your company. One of the first and best additions to my bike is your rad cover. I love it! Take care and keep up the fight. John and Dianne:2133:

Very nice.

Now you see what I meant about medical Carl. All of our vehicle policies have it and based on the perception of personal injury in an accident it goes up. Funny thing on mine was the wifes Nissan car had higher accident benefits than my bike. I guess the car is more unsafe than the bike.(haha)

Congradulations and hope you get another 46. You are a great couple. Hope to see you again soon.

Sorry to hear this news. It is never an easy thing even if expected. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

Battery. Try boosting to prove this. Had same issue last year. Lights all good, not enough juice to even click starter. Boosted and started right up. New battery and all is good now.

They leak at the weld. Both sides on my 2004 replaced under warranty back in 2008.

Sent Lewis. A little extra as it's coming to Canada. If it is more let me know. Thanks again for your work in this cause.

Here's to a quick recovery. Nothing worse than not feeling well.

Hey Barry; Same year bike,Same Insurance company. Premium $1050 This would be my point about Brampton. I also had a friend in London area with a newer Venture that paid less than me as well in past years and with the same insurance provider.. I called the Personal but they were adamant that where I live has a higher rate than other parts of the province. Funny thing is the first thing I do is ride out of Brampton(ha-ha) and into the country. As long as I can afford it I will ride and that I hope is a long time. As for south of the border I am sure they realize that a big part of our insurance is the medical portion that they do not always have as some members from the US. here have told me. Bottom line is you pay what you pay or shop around or move or whatever. I like where I live so I pay what I have to to keep riding.

Try living with an L6**** postal code in Brampton,. Highest area in Ontario for insurance. Over $1000 a year and the medical benefit of that is $549 alone. Did the Riders plus and got a deal first year but went back over $1000 next year so same BS! Went back where I have been forever.

This is correct. It has a pearl and a white which makes it an even better white bike! It is really sharp and the comments I get everywhere I go proves its good looks.

Bought my white 2004 in 2004. I also love a white bike so that is why I have it. As in most years Yamaha has only one colour but for certain years they made a midnight bike in black and more chrome. There was a midnight in 2004 as well as the white. Later on they made a stock colour and an "s" model similar to the midnight version. Now I believe they only offer one bike version per year with no options for colour or anything at all. I have also looked at Harley and Victory for the same reason as you, if I want a new white bike. Good luck on your choice of bike in order to get white.

Please help us pray....

So sorry to hear this. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. -
Loved it Dave: Also saw it at this show. Only one in Canada right now and making the show rounds. Was in Calgary when the international show was on so it was not there. It is only available in black in Canada but you can get black or red in the USA. Go figure?? Same goes with the cb1100a. White only in Canada but white and red in the USA???

Thanks Larry and Joyce for organizing this and it was great seeing friends that we have not seen in quite awhile. All the best this year to everyone and hope to see you again soon. Thanks to Brad and Rhonda for the ride over and the hotel accomodations.
