I also love mine and wonder now how I rode without it. Also I highly recommend DiamondR as a great company to deal with if you have any issues. Allen and Patti are number one in the customer service business.

It's gone back north! More like frozen chicken up here Cindy!

Here's a couple of daylight pics on two bikes. The lights are both from DiamondR which I highly recommend as a dealer to deal with. Their service is second to none!

Plastex is the product that I have used and it worked great.I have repaired numerous things with it and it seems to be the only plastic repair product that does actually work.

These were taken on our trip to Newfoundland. The black midnight is TFD69's. The first picture is at the Arches in Gross Morne park and the second is on the transcanada in Coduroy Valley. The third one is Woody point. Black and White sure looks good together

Hi Al: The year we were in Georgia we came back on the Blue Ridge with Stephen and Marion and we stayed at both Peaks of the Otter and Doughton park and they were both very nice. Peaceful and quiet. The distance between the two made for a shorter day but it was worth it to stay at both. We got on the parkway in Asheville and were trying to make it to the Peaks of the Otter but it was just too long as you can`t do any speed on the parkway. Thats why we stayed in Doughton. There is a great little restaraunt there as well. We went from Peaks of the Otter to Luray the next day and that seemed long enough for me.We were sight seeing at the same time so it was a little slower. The trip was well worth it and we would like to do it again sometime. Take care

"How, I would, trade if all to have him back, be in his arms once again." How true is this? There is not enough money in the world to replace the loved ones and friends we have lost. Keep strong and we continue to pray for you Sherry:2132:

My Zumo has locked many times and if the + and power do not work. I have removed the battery and it does come back. It is a pain and as it usually quits when you need it most. At least it comes back but a lot of money for something to not work!!!!I am sure Microsoft had something to do with this as they seem to be able to sell a product that has flaws and fixes to it all the time.

You may be right about this and there seems to be some dipute about what can and cannot be worked on. I emailed Yamaha Canada direct and got this response. So lets hope the dealer is wrong about no 2009 model! Website Customer Contact NAME: John Downton ----------------------------------------------------- QUESTION: Good day: I have a 2004 Venture that I have owned since new.I have a waranty issue with an exhaust leak that Kahuna cycle is looking after for me.They were refered to me from another dealer that said they were not certified to work on the Venture? The dealership I bought it from is out of business as well as other dealers that have worked on the bike. My question to you is I go to Yamaha dealers whom tell me that they are not authorised to work on a Venture for warranty issues or other issues and refer me to other dealers that are suposedly authorized. Is it true that there is a diference between Yamaha dealers that are or are not Venture certified and can or cannot work on my bike? It is getting harder to find a dealership willing to work on the bike as they continue to close there doors for one reason or another. Looking forward to your response in this matter and Thank you for your time on this in advance. John Downton P.S. I am extremely happy with the bike but need to clarify if the dealers are correct in telling me this. It just makes no sence to me. Good afternoon, We have different dealers dealing with different product groups, by that I mean, some will deal with motorcycles, others with ATV's, others with snowmobiles and so on, or some might run all product groups. As long as a dealer is an authorised Yamaha dealer for motorcycles, he is allowed to perform warranty repairs on a Yamaha motorcycle. It is true we are seeing more and more dealers closing down, especially in the GTA. This is unfortunately not a situation that's under our control, these dealers are independently owned and operated and if for any reason they can no longer run their business, there is sadly not much we can do. As much as our consumers, we would like to see more dealers in operation. We thank you for taking the time to contact us. Regards, Helen Sun Consumer Relations Coordinator

I run premium all the time unless the station does not have it and I get over 40mpg consistantly. Even at 8 cents a litre more it is only around $1 difference in a tanks and I find the bike runs better. P.S.Are you the corrections guy we met in Shediac that bought the bike in the States? There was two of us with trailers stopped at Tim Hortons?

You are correct about the training. He told me it was different training and certification for the Venture and none of his mechanics have the certification. He said that is Yamaha's rule and hence his dealership cannot work on the Venture with Yamaha's blessing. You know what they say jack of all trades Master of none. I would rather have someone that has an idea what he is doing than someone wing it. I am happy this guy is honest enough to tell me the truth about his dealership instead of playing me along to make some money!!

You would be suprised at the number of Yamaha dealers in Canada not Authorized to work on Ventures as to warranty work! This dealership is very reputable, thats why I went there instead of the one he sent me too. I did not know he was not authorized to work on warranty work for a Venture. As far as blowing smoke I do not know what purpose he would have to tell me something he does not believe as in no 2009 model? I hope he is wrong but we will see.
