  2. I just read that if your husband is more of a "DQ" rather than a "GQ" type he is more likely to own a Venture! Must be true? Bryan
  3. WHERE'S MINE? WHERE'S MINE? Bryan
  4. Lisa and I have been in that area before. First thing you notice is the guy that made up the speed limit signs for the corners, was OBVIOUSLY a racer on a crotch rocket! And quite a few of the corners are "banked" the wrong way. But WHAT A RIDE!!!!!! PS Nice Video!!! Bryan

  14. Hey Dick, I don't blame you a bit. First time we were down there wife wanted me to get a car and I was to chicken, I knew I would pull into the wrong lane. (Did you see how they do "right" turns down town?) They pull over in front of the traffic waiting at the red light, then it turns green and they go. Kind of a neat way to keep traffic from slowing down but would be a bear to get use to at my age! But the next trip down we will be getting a car, and did you see you can rent a HD at a shop down town? We will rent one for a couple of days too. Hey did you get a HD shirt with the Kangaroo on it? We got a couple last time for gifts. Safe trip home and enjoy the memories! Bryan
  15. Funny you would ask that question. It took me a week to like my RSV. After I got use to floor boards and adjusted the handle bars (for me) I now LOVE it. But a dedicated / full fledged / only bike you can ride is an HD type guy I work with, his wife came and used his truck one day while we were at work early this spring. He needed to go home for a few minuets so I offered him my bike for the ride home and back. Well you would have thought I slapped him. LOL He told me there was NO WAY he would ride a JAP piece of ,,, junk. Long story short he HAD to get home so he took my bike. He rides an Ultra Classic and swears it is the best riding bike in the world. (He lives 1 mile from the plant) and after he got back I took a look at the miles and there were 22 "extra" miles on it. I asked him how he liked it and he said it was "ok" for what it was, and that was it. Then one day he started asking me questions about the RSV. I answered best I could, some questions were like how hard are they to work on? I said I have no idea. He says don't you have to do this and do that? I said I start it and ride it till I get home, Put in gas , change oil and change tires and that's all I have done in the three years that I have owned it. It always starts and is ready to ride. He could not believe it. He came to work about a month ago and told me to stop over at his place after work. So I did and could not believe what I saw!! There in his garage was a Midnight RSV. When I ask who's it was he told me he bought it. He then told me he took my bike that day out on the road and could not believe what he was missing. He said all his life it was ONLY HD but that one ride of 20 miles opened his eyes. So now I got no one to razz at work any more. That is what these darn RSV's will do, Take away your fun to razz someone who has NO IDEA what a ride SHOULD be like!!! Bryan
  16. Jeff, You know, since you are going to have this all set up you may as well make a few and sell the rest. Should I put in my order today? When you build the flag mount make in a slite V shape with one in the center so I can have 1, 2, or 3 flags if needed. Think of the EXTRA $$$$$ you will bring in for the rest of your projects? Bryan
  17. I am with you on this Boss. I have also found that the closer to the "Office" I can get a room the better the internet. And it doesn't seem to matter if it is wired or wireless, it's just better. Go figure? Bryan
  18. :rotfl: I saw that too! Plate letters > "FANMN" Got to be a Minnesota fan? Boy I bet he is PO'ed at the guy that built his bike. Now he has to sell it, or change teams. I see a PURPLE cheese head in the makings. :rotfl: Bryan
  19. Well, looks like Steve got this on the calendar. So I RSVP'd we will be there. Bryan
  20. Dick, Just wanted to say the wife & I are very happy for you and your wife. We had such a good time there and we are now planning a trip again here in a couple of years. Hope you and yours are finding as much enjoyment as we did and are having as much fun! Wish we could have went down this year and had a friend to go out with some. Enjoy!! Bryan PS. I know you are a day ahead over there so could you get the winning lottery numbers and I'll play them and share with you? :rotfl: When we went the first time I had four employees that I told that to and gave me money to play....... Guess it shows how dumb some of the people I work with are.
  21. Orlin, I've only done it once I think but here goes. 1st go to "Calendar" 2nd put in month and year you want 3rd click on the "Single all day event" 4th Put in "Title", When, Where, Time to meet, Where the ride ends (All the info you can put in. Then the RSVP thing click yes (Not sure about the last part but you get that far I know you can figure it out from there.) Hope this helps ya out? Bryan
  22. Steve, Do like me, if you see some ,,,,,,,,,, "Bikes" in a gas station, I pull in and park so the sun or lights are between the bike and the "other" riders and then go in and watch through the windows. Then try your best not to smile as you walk out. They try to act as if they never saw the "blink" , but you know they did! Bryan
  23. The local State Patrol here in Oskaloosa told me if you can see the bulbs it is illegal. Mine are illegal as he says but I can shut them off by touching a switch in my pocket. But I like them anyway! Bryan And the oil spots on the floor are NOT from this bike. A couple of pictures before my bling from Mike.
  24. What I have on mine are black flexible strips that you can cut to length to fit. Mine are under the edge of tank each side and across the battery box area. You can get any color, "mine are blue lights". I had them put on at the "Davis Rally" in New Hampton, Iowa. I will try to get a picture later on in the dark. (Garage is filled with stuff from another kid moving back in). Mike does GREAT work! Bryan Sorry bikes is a little dirty and with all the kids stuff I can't get a good shot. But they SHINE and SPARKLE!!!!
  25. That will be GREAT! We will be there! Bryan
