Good point to make and bring "everyone" aware of. I have known this most my life growing up in the country but never thought of others not knowing. It was just one of those things all the country kids knew. Ya know? Thank you, Bryan
-
Now Bob, you should know like all second gen owners do. We need to follow a first gen's so we don't have to turn around and go back to help them when the break. Kind of like riding with the HD boys, ya know? Bryan
-
Of coerce I have to put in some pictures of the Cabin,,,,,,,,, no I will not call it a road more of a goat path! But the owner left his 4 wheeler for us to pull the trailers down the "path" with, thank you! Bryan

Here are a few more pictures. Not sure I have ever had 4 days of GREAT weather, sun shine, low 70's, wind 0 to 4 mph, just perfect weather!!! Great roads and good people! Bryan
-
For those of you that "want" to know what Shirley was "really" holding! And some more pictures. Bryan
-
The bikes will climb, it is just the spinning on a "steep, slanted slope" that really make for an "interesting ride! And going down was a challenge, going up involved PRAYER!! And Bob, when I get home I will post the picture of what Shirley was REALLY doing! Keep it quiet, not sure if Rick is the jelouse type? Bryan

Thanks Bob, change of route due to heavy rain. Rick & Shirley are now riding over to Ottumwa, IA and then we'll head south or west then south what ever the "least heavy" rain direction is. Bryan
-
Sounds like fun! Bryan
-
Thanks for the well wishes! And Scooter 840 min till "we" leave. Quit raining but suppose to start back up tonight. OH well, that's what rain gear is for. Feel like that pig in the commercial, "Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Bryan

25 hours 25 min and 25 seconds and we take off for Ark-e-saw! It's pouring down rain as I type, it is cool outside and dark, YAH! It don't get better than this! The rain came early so it will be gone, the sun will take place of the darkness and ALL the cages will say "that's what we should be doing!" Rick see you in Bowling Green at noonish, with the sun and a smile on my face! Bryan

Loud pipes result in terrorism charge????

Well I hate the kids whose radio you here 4 blocks from the house with all the windows closed! You can not tell me it is "music" when all you hear is distortion of the trunk lid, doors and hood rattling. They have no idea what a GOOD system sounds like. Bryan -
Thanks Mike, And yes I have been watching. :bawling:But Lisa says, and I quote! "so what, we got rain gear, and we ARE going so we don't give a $hit! RIGHT" And that is where I say "yes dear, I mean no dear, I mean I agree"! Bryan

Riding around the Lake Ozark area
bryan52577 replied to Aimhigh's topic in West North Central States
Hey Jim, Here is a link to some pictures of the swinging bridges and the cave restaurant on the ride we took 2 years ago. Bridges were fun but like I said before there is some gravel to get to them. I was raised on gravel roads so they don't bother me as much as they do some people. Hope you have a GREAT trip! Saturday we are meeting up with friends from ILL in Bowling Green, MO, Rick and Shirley Haywood and heading to Ark-e-saw for a week of riding GREAT roads, terrorizing the locals, hiding the grit's and finding some moon shine! (In the post Rick says he likes banjo music????? I'm going to have to have a talk with Shirley me thinks? ) Bryan. -
AND IT CAN'T GET HERE TO SOON!!!!! Bryan

Sorry so late just got home from that dirty 4 letter word,,,,, work. Anyway if you do not mind a mile of gravel some of these "swinging" brides are cool to see before they are all gone. Another couple on a Valkyrie went with us 2 years ago and it was pretty cool. And if you want to have a meal in a "cave" well this place can do that. We were there and the food was good, going to hit it again in a week and find out how it is now. There is "Bridal cave" also that is nice to hit in the summer heat for a bit. Now as for roads, heck any road you want around there is pretty nice, even the 4 lane up to Jefferson City is pretty,,,, for a 4 lane. Bryan -

You are right, he don't get to ride much. I mean most people get a whole season of riding on one set of tires. Bryan

Mike, I know Rick wants a job and any of them company's that don't hire him are loosing. It would not surprise me if they do want him to start the week of vacation or even before. But Lisa and I are coming down to terrorize you Arkesaw rebels, so look out. And if Rick can't make,,,, darn but yet good for him! And I bet I could find someone to take his share of the cabin if need be. So GOOD LUCK RICK and LOOK OUT ARKESAW here we come! Bryan
