    A friend of mine has a "empty" pistol holster hanging beside his seat, in VERY plain sight. Seems to work quite well as he has parked in some "not to good of areas" and never had any issues. Bryan

    Bob, So I guess getting a can of spray paint and writing all over HIS car, (I'LL PARK WHERE EVER I WANT). Would not be the way to go? Well then I guess you have your anger management down pretty good. Cause I am 100% sure that painting on HIS car is just what I would have done. That or beating the doo-doo out of him.     When we went I got a "Trace map" it had what there was and the mile markers as to where it all was. Wife loved the way I had what we wanted to see highlighted and she read the mile markers off to me so we knew where we should turn into. This map will kind of give you an idea. Also we had a blast in Natchez touring the old antebellum homes and took the carriage tour too. We took the "old" trace in spots and seen water-falls and old tobacco barns, kind of cool. Bryan

    Happens to me all the time. Usually after eating certain foods. Nothing to worry about. OH, sorry, didn't read the whole post. To answer the question, NO, that has never happened to my "05". Just a guess but maybe a carb got stuck? Try so "Sea foam" in the gas tank and see if it frees up? Just a guess on my part, I am sure you will get a GOOD answer from some of the great people here.     FIRST, Thanks to all who came! And I hope you-all had as good a time as we did. A1BUMMER (Bill) Thanks for bringing AND cooking the brats & burgers, YUM,YUM! We even had a Gold winger come to the fire Saturday night and said he use to belong but has not been on the site for a few years.     OK, getting antsy, can't sleep, Lisa is in the kitchen baking, trying to waste time till day-light and says we are leaving then and to find a loooonnngg way there so we get more riding in. Now how can I argue with that? We should be at the cabin around 3:00 to 3:30 ish. I'll get a fire going and start some chili for anyone that wants some. Talked with Ken and we thinks the rides should start at 10:00 am Friday and Saturday so some of the chill will be gone and not get anyone toooo cold. Not sure what Ken has, but my ride will be approximately 150 miles with the option of another 25 miles depending on time. Lunch will be at the Casino (buffet) in Marquette, IA, and there will be a stop or two at a couple of Orchards along the way after lunch. "My ride is NOT fast paced, some may call me poky but we tend to enjoy the scenery not how fast we can get from point A to B." (This is my first time really putting anything together for a group that I have "never" road with. So if some think it is to short or to long or has any suggestions for anything, please let me know. I would like to do this again next year too, if people like it.) See you there, Bryan

    Trailer is loaded, bike is gassed, waiting on Lisa to get off work and away we go!!!!! Probably leave about 9:30 in the morning and take our time enjoying the GREAT weather!! See everyone there at Crooked Creak Campgrounds. Bryan

    To answer your question about when the last time I pulled my weapon in self-defense? NEVER had to, so far, THANK GOD. I also have carried insurance on all my bikes for over thirty years and have NEVER had to use it. THANK GOD But if that "ONE time" ever does come, I WILL be PROTECTED. My Bryan (On a side note I believe there are MANY more people that carry even tho they do not have a license. I recently went to an over night Motorcycle party near here and even tho the "RULES" on the flier said "NO weapons", 11 out of the 14 people camping right around us had a weapon. Which I thought was quite interesting.)
