So what do you think, did I get my money's worth out of these pads?
bryan52577 replied to LilBeaver's topic in Watering Hole
Looks good for another 5000 to 10000 or more miles,........................................................ If you never had to use them. Bryan -
Well you Texans are lucky, looks like you don't have to license a trailer like we do here in Iowa. Bryan

DANG! You Southerners shur know how to hurt a guys feelins. But then I also hate those 100* + days yah-all have too. I'll stick with my cold air, makes hunting that much more fun. And I can wear safety gear (leathers) and not die of a heat-stroke also. Bryan

OK, OK, first I haven't got to ride since last part of October 2010 due to weather, work, funerals etc. Well today even with bronchitis I have had for the past lousy week now, coughing, hard breathing and all. Turned the key on and off three times till it quit clicking and I am not sure it even turned over 2 revolutions and VAROOOOM!!!!!! Yah, Yah I checked all the fluids, air, wheels and all the little stuff before hand. Took it to the car wash to get all the winter dust off her. (Note to self, find out why there is even dust in a closed garage.) Anyway I got home and Lisa had her boots on with a big smile on her face. What do I do? :lightbulb:Well I can't disappoint her so Lisa & I went for a ride!!!! Been driving the truck to work and hunting and about everywhere else and the roads around here did not winter well. We took off and I swear the roads were like glass! It was so smooooooooth we both couldn't believe it! (Smile) She says I done good getting this bike, she loves it! Got home about dark grilled some steak and life is good again! WARM WEATHER, WELCOME BACK!!!! :sign woo hoo: Oh and did I mention :sign woo hoo: !!! Bryan

As for the, (or which) weekend, September 30th to October 2nd or October 7th to the 9th. I am game for either. I am still trying to make sure the Crooked River resort will still be open. (Place we used last year. Cost and location was good I thought.) At this time even they are not sure, it is up to the bank. If they close then I need to find a alternate place to have the "gathering" and then the routes can be made accordingly. I am looking at any and all places that could have us at a "reasonable" cost. Some have the facilities, and capabilities but the cost is just to much $$$. Others are just camping or will not allow alcohol or fires, ect. I found another place by Boscoble, WI but very few cabins and no motel (around the corner like we had). Was also looking just north of La Crosse also. Found a couple there but $$$ again. What would people be willing to spend? I thought over $80 a night was a bit high, but then maybe I am just a tight wad? Guess I am open to suggestions, after all we are "all" in this together? I just want everyone to have a GOOD, SAFE, time and ride! And Ken and I will have the rides for Friday and Saturday planned out. Bill, you are our "OFFICIAL" cook now after the last "Leaf Lookers Ride". So you let me know of any thing you need or would want and I will try to help you out all I can. Bryan

Russel, There is a "Add-on" in Firefox that will let you see the definition of any word you high-light! I get three times more reading done now that I don't have to get the dictionary out and look the word up all the time! Maybe you should switch? Just trying to help you out Buddy. Bryan PS After the first time, I found out that little add-on is much cheaper than,,,,,,,,,,, OK I'll go back to lurking now.

LOL, It may sound stupid but I just park by the HD's ................ I even left my key in mine, and when we all came out of the restaurant one of the HD's was gone. Poor guy had the steering locked and a alarm on it and they still got it, and with out anyone noticing. Bryan (Kind of like grabbing the $100 bill, but leaving the diamonds!)
