    Took the bike in and had it serviced and a new Dun-lop E-3 put on the rear. It was done and, well, it was sunny, and hardly any wind, and, well I called in and took a day of vacation, and well, went riding! I went through 2 tanks of gas for a total of 452 miles. (Most I was able to get in was 4.87 gal at 231 miles, hit reserve at 201, I think, darn gauge resets and does it's count down.) Went no particular place, for no particular reason. Just me and the bike........... WOW, WHAT FUN I HAD!!! :sign woo hoo: :sign woo hoo: Sorry had to,,, rub it in,,, I mean ,, um ,, vent. Yeah that's it, VENT! Bryan

    Deb, You and Gary are in our thought and our prayers. Also that poor little girls family and all those kids on the bus. It is a horrible thing to see at any age but as a child it seems to always be in the back of your mind. I know it always has been for me. If you or Gary need to talk or vent you got my cell # and are welcome to call me ANY time. Take care of your self and give Gary a bigger, longer hug than normal, I'm sure he could use it.     Why is it when I work during the week it is Sunny, little wind and 75* to 95*. But come to a day I get off or the weekend and it's 56* and raining????? Lousy rotten weather!! Bryan

    I have mine on all the time (high / low). I have always set the cars and trucks I have owned up the same way (high / low). My thought is when you get to use high beam you have no one in front of you so you want all the light you can get. When you come up to a car and they "dim" their light BUT the driving lights come on now too, now you have 4 lights in stead of 2. Yes I know the low is less watts / lums but to add another set is,,,, ummm,,, well I can't say it here. My new truck does not have the relay that I used to jump 87 to 87A and have driving light on low & high. It is all computor set up. But thank you "Bully Dog" cause they have a setting to do it. Bryan

    UPDATE! Karen the Scooter has left Oskaloosa, 318 miles till a,,,,,, HUG! I sent him off with SUNSHINE, a mug of coffee and very little wind. :smile5: It sure was good to see him again and hope the two of you can make it to the "Wisconsin Leaf Lookers" ride again this year.     Look who stopped by for a visit! We have two of the kids living back home again so all I had to offer Scooter Bob was a couch. We had a couple beers and BS'ed till the weee hour in the morning.
