    What a JERK (pierced guy)! It is VERY sad that people are soooo inconsiderate and have to be sooo irresponsible to others. They should hang porch guy by his piercings! You are very lucky that security has the whole incident recorded and you can get a copy! STRING HIM UP BY HIS N**S! (and a few piercings as well just to add a little pain). Make him squeel like a little girl too!

    Well I tried my hand at brazing the chamber and I was successful! I used a flux coated bronze filler rod and a little Bernzomatic brazing tourch (with MAPP gas and oxygen.. plenty hot). The bronze flowed very nicely and patched up the tear and a few other places that had broken loose. Saved me $369 for a new one! and I did it myself! Bill

    Howdy all! My first post, but what a wonderful site for info!! I have an 83 VR and am trying to get it running again after sitting for 10 years. Does anyone know what type of stainless this collector is made of? I tried the magnet trick and it is slightly magnetic indicating type 416 BUT if the 300 series (that is NOT magnetic) is cold formed, it too can become slightly magnetic. I am going to try my hand at brazing mine (I have a crack forming on the front edge, blowing on the oil sump). Thanks! Bill
