Oh Dude I feel your pain!! I keep finding those nests everywhere. Im winning though, Under my chair on the deck, In the square uprights on my MC trailer, In my hose real, In my dumpster at my shop and the list goes on. Got stung once buy as I look everywhere before I go I have gotten lucky!!! Be safe and I hope you arent allergic!!!!

I think what he is getting at is not the Bike but lack of helmet. After I saw pics of Yammers helmet and how it saved him I was cured of not wearing or wearing substandard helmets. I know you will quote it should be a choice and I do agree but the point he is making is that the helmet could have saved the life but I do suppose people should have the right to sacrafice their life if they choose. I happen to choose to wear a good helmet.

Oh there just may be!! First I got to see if fat guys fit good on it and then I have to make sure It dont bake the fat guy too much. Then we can talk about it!! LOL

Do you like the bag covers anyway. Get it fixed and put them on top anyway. Been looking for a way to thank you anyhow.

Hey Gene why dont you help out the Boss with a special set of leather cover for the bags. I also suggest we not let him pay and we can split the cost for all his hard work. If not that I will pay it!

Well the Honda is sold and In on its way next week after the new owner arranges its transport. Kind of bitter sweet and I got my reserve but that is all. Bike sold for 4500. On good thing is I didnt want to sell it to someone local as I put so much into it, it would be hard to see someone riding it and worst of all damage it. Well no problem with that as it will be going to a new home in Seattle. Guess there is no chance of that!!! LOL Now to get to the HD dealer!!!

Exactly why I want to try it and not just buy a pretty bike. There are a few ways to reduce the problem but I wont know how it fits me or how much of a problem it is until I ride the beast for a while. Think mostly Im looking for a change and a new slate to mod. Done everything to this one I can already.

I suppose this is no secret. I have been looking at ordering a 09 Harley Ultra Firefighter edition. My bigest concern has been the hot rear cylinder thing. I was in Ct last weekend talking to the sales woman about ordering one and plan to test ride an Ultra there next week. Not sure how I feel about the water cool thing but it sounds cool as long as it dont send the price event higher through the roof. I sold my Honda on Ebay yesterday so that is the downpayment to order. Being a betting man I dont think you will see this unless they create a new model so they can test bed it with the public.

Well we have a Sale section for other bikes and we even have a Darkside. Why not a tech section for other bikes. There is no reason why we cant discuss other bikes but the common bond is we all had or have Ventures. No secret I am looking and very close to ordering a 2009 HD Ultra Firefighter Edition. I have no plans of leaving and also have joined Touring Hogs as well. Not much action over there but I get questions answered. I have no intention of not coming by here all the time. Just like on my Chevy Avalanche site. There its called a Fan Club and even those who may have sold thier trucks to downsize they are sitll members and even the founder drives something else now. We discuss other vehicles too and has a section for it.

I honestly keeping the Club Venture oriented is the best thing. In no way have we ever discriminated against other brands and never will. Those who have left after switching brands do under their own doing and not because they were booted or anything. Keep it pure.

Im selling my Custom Honda. Because I dont have a great back and also have my RSV I want to sell my Custom Honda. You still use the cassette deck? Most here dont know why they still have them and are removing them. If you need a replacement Im sure anyone of a number of people will donate the guts of theirs as the hot trend here is to remove it and install and equalizer or gut it and make a pocket for an Ipod or storage.

You know that is where my bike came from and Ive heard nothing but good things about them. Out here on the East End of the Island none of them are worth a pound of salt. I wish Hicksville want such a trip for me but apparently worth it as none of them are any good out here. -
Pretty much everyone will have nothing bad to say about Steve here. Great product. This is exacty what I meant about not mentioning names especially without all the facts. With Condors permission I think maybe this thread should disappear and let them work out the problems. I dont think we as a body need to be involved with this.

Carb Synch indicators?

Maybe a local member to you can help. If you take it to the dealer for that you will spend lots of money for what is really just a 15min process and so many of us here have the tool why spend it when you can have a GTG for coffee and a carb sync. I do it for anyone in my area that wants to save about 200. Also if you are handy you will spend less buying the Morgan carb tune and doing it per the Tech article on this site (Yamahas book is wrong). Its so easy to do if you have any mechanical ability. -
Be careful about posting names here on that. I remember quite a while ago a number of members had a problem with a certain former member here. Don handled the certain situation very well it want until numerous attempts were made and proven to be legit that the whole details were posted here. I will look for the link as an example. Point is the threat is often enough and wont slander a member. This may give him a chance to answer too if not publicly but maybe a PM. Im sure this is a very legit situation but dont jump and I do suggest PMing Don and see what he advises on this before this thread goes down a very bad road.
