Mel Like Judge Judy says... Two agreed upon price and goods delivered. Better deal 7 days later is NOT the original contract... judgment for the Defendant Motorcycle Superstore. You sent a very nice email trying to modify the above said contract! Defendant replied was Short, (un)Sweet but to the Point! I think 7 Days is wonderful they have to stop some where? Most other vendors do not give you ANY DAYS. Have a homebrew and relax. If you are a grumpy retiree just remember... getting old is NOT an option but being grumpy is an option and 99% dislike grumpy. 2 cents.

Karl, I thought the same thing just buy and self install a vent. Then my imagination got the better of me... I could not find a HOW TOO cut and install a Vent. I could see myself drilling and cutting and then BAM (A Cracked Windshield)!!! Then I emailed F4 about installing a Vent in one of there Windshields at there factory, there answer was: NO, NOPE, NATTA not even for extra $$$ (This got me confirming my BAM imagination above) Hmmmmm??? I had the Clearview XXL with factory installed vent and loved it. Even with SLOW turn around IMHO think it is worth the wait (for me).

HID headlight installed
frogmaster replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I would like one that works with a Modulator (A Man can Dream). Better than ending up as a hood ornament with a very Bright Light (day time scenario). 1. Agree HID safer than Stock day time & night time without Modulator. 2. Stock with Modulator safer in daytime than HID the FLASH just wakes up the lazy eyes! 3. My Dream and safest would be HID with Modulator. 3 cents Excellent Thread!!! -

Seaking, I have just add my KISAN Headlight Modulator and it was Plug-N-Play to my 2nd GEN and the back of the Stock Bulb. From what I seen at the Link I could NOT see the back of the bulb configuration? Can you explain or provide Pictures?? I too would like to add this to my Bike and KEEP my Modulator in place! My last order said 3 to 5 weeks. My first Order was similar back in 2009. They collect a bunch of orders then fire up the production line. THIS IS NORMAL for them. If you need one Shipped the day you ordered you can look at their "Blemish in Stock Section" on the Website. Not defending the practice but you should have received an email "confirming" your order and the same email had the "duration" until shipping. The Vent is AWSOME!!! worth the wait IMHO.

Not Having a "vent" is a Deal Breaker for me and F4 did not make that deal. Having a VENT is PRICELESS when you have a good Textile Jacket with zipper vents into / onto the chest area and exit vents out the Back (Tourmaster Series2 Jacket)... AWSOME AIR MOVEMENT and PRICELESS. The Clearview XXL will make your Co-Rider Happy too. PS: Brand New 2010 Clearview "Medium with Vent" for Sale. Used on 5 mile test ride the kicker lip on the top not enough when compared to the XXL. Send me a PM or email if you want a Brand New Discounted Clearview Medium with Vent.

2009 they said NO to installing vent at factory.... so I bought a Clearview 2009 29 Sept laid bike down at 10 to 15 mph and trashed Clearview 2010 Sent email to F4 about installing a vent at factory they said NO.... bought another Clearview LESSON HERE..... Listen to your Customers!!!

HAZMAT??? Any Kids, Water Supply or Pets around??? Call a POISON Help Line found in your phone book to get professional advice if this is a Mercury Spill. I HOPE I'm 100% wrong here.... but in 1990 I dropped and broke a Lab Thermometer in a University Lab and that was a MAJOR Deal... they brought in Pros to clean it up. Like I said I HOPE I'm 100% Wrong but let a PRO tell you best way to handle this. Good Luck

Valves Serviced since 1996? Valve Adjustment & Seals sounds very likely here with what you described so far. I see your in PA give skydoc17 a PM or Call for 3 cents -
Hmmmmmm? Midnite if this was 100% true and accurate this board would of been filled with "Dont buy this Bike because every 5,000 miles the carbs need to be rebuilt" Posts! Me thinks your dealer is grabbing at smoke and mirrors or smoking something funny I do hope you get this resolved and you don't have to bring the bike in every 5,000 miles. Good Luck keep us posted with the fix and mileage updates.
