Agree have a peer ride it see if he reports the same? Not agree with air pressure other than manual and tire manufacturer reports Either case any wobble dismissed by dealer should be documentated and look for a better dealer service department. 2 cents

Where Did The Oil Go
frogmaster replied to stevel's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
OIL DYE Link: http://www.popularmechanics.com/how_to_central/automotive/1272471.html?page=2 Good Luck -
One year and 10k miles with no air in front shock doing just fine here. Many of us run zero PSI in Front Shocks... However it should hold up to 7 PSI. If you hit it with a compressor you might have blown the seals. Otherwise a warranty issue. Good Luck.

How many miles on Bike??? Sounds like front wheel bearings might be wore out or looooose and should be inspected. A sloppy front wheel bearing will cause what you have described. 2.5 cents Good Luck and keep us posted with the final fix!!!

Another Cruise Control Problem

Yep -
Thank God

Steering Head Bearing tight? YES zero in both is equal and many of us run zero PSI in front shock, me included

These work very well and most of all is the "Adjust-ability" works in HEAT & COLD. Bit pricey but solid construction, good chrome and very strong. The smoke color goes well with any color scheme. This is definitely one of the top 3 add-on's I ever put on my RSV-08. Good Luck

mounting a gps?
frogmaster replied to Goofeychuck's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Suction Cup is a good way to lose your gps on the first or second bump (I was lucky to catch mine after bouncing off tank). Check this out: [ame=http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35927]Ram GPS mount modified w/ Part # and Pics - VentureRider.Org[/ame] Good Luck -
Leave at Sun Up and be done and off the road BEFORE Dark. Do the math for your area for Hours and minutes of daylight? If unable to do all in daylight then get good night sleep and leave before Sunrise when your most alert and not late eve and dark when most fatigued. Ride Safe

Itemized bill? Sounds WAY WAY WAY too high unless justified with itemized bill!!! You would of been better off asking someone hear who is nearby you to stop by and a six pack goes a Loooong Waaay Go back and get this itemized bill and review line by line and watch the LABOR HOURS here is an example... (I had rear tire replaced and asked them to inspect and if uneven brake pads then to flip my rear brake pads. I looked at my bill and seen point-50-Hr (30 minutes). The tire was off for replacement already and there are 2 clips on each pad no tools required just unclip & flip that's it less than 5 minutes max. Guy agreed and changed to point-12-5-Hr) My 2 cents

Trimmed my windshield and well, it melted...

18 teeth per inch works very well. you might have a slight (tilt or skew) because you went to your weaker back hand side thus causing more heat. Slow and steady don't push it, the 18 teeth per inch is "Fine" enough and coarse enough to get fresh/cool air into the cut too. Done 2 of them so far . -
