  1. Here is a picture of 2 that I shot with a Canon http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/MD11of1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/BBull.jpg
  2. Just a word of caution on the car chargers. My son worked for AT&T and was always warning me about cheap aftermarket car chargers. He always said stick with the OEM stuff. Well I never really put much thought in it until about a month ago. A house in our subdivision burned down in the middle of the night. It was a cheap car charger caught fire in the car which was parked in the garage. Luckly the family made it out OK. I have replaced all of my car chargers.
  3. I have a Beeman R7 .20 cal. It is a great gun. Yes, oil can cause the guns to diesel and fire from the compression in the air chamber. Beeman and all the others make a lube that is safe to use in the chamber.
  4. Another Canon vote here. I am in the same boat as Condor (50K) in cameras & lens. When we go on trips it is usally for photo ops. Once you make your choice of brands you need to stick to it. It becomes expensive to change camps down the road. On the bike I carry a Canon G9. My biggest issue with point and shoot is the shutter lag. I have been playing around with different processing lately, I just got tired of doing it the same way every time. Anyway, if anyone wants to take a look click on the link below. http://www.lookingglassphotos.com/p769370763/slideshow
  5. There are several of us here on the forum that have had new knees put in. It will take a while before you can hop back on the bike. It was about a full year for me from what I can recall. I went back to work at 12 weeks after PT 3 times a week. I don't know how some people have them both done at the same time. It is a pretty rough surgery and hurts like hell. Mine was to the point where I had no choice but to have it done. So, I guess I have to say that I would do it again. The day to day pain will mostly be a thing of the past. You will have less range of motion and a few new pains that come with having joint replacement.
  6. We did the houseboat thing a few years back. It was a great way to get away from all of it. I hope you get back with the batteries charged and ready to finish out the year.
  7. I use one from Joe Rocket. I think it is the Sahara. It helps a lot on those 100 degree days. I also have the evaporative bandana. I use one of the small coolers and keep an extra bandana on ice. I stick the vest in the ice chest during gas stops. It will recharge well in 10-15 minutes.
  8. Brad, For some reason the forum will not let me attach a document to send you. Follow the link below to a post I made a few years back. It is a good flow chart for checking for electrical problems, You will need to scroll down a little. Bill http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25062
  9. Send Rick Butler (here on the forum) a message. He helped in the Works shock development. I bet he can help sort it out.
  10. Looks like Harley's wobble is getting a little attention. My brother the Harley rider sent me this link last nite. Maybe they need to show up for the MD steering head adjustment clinic. http://www.kpho.com/local-video/index.html?grabnetworks_video_id=4697488
  11. Gary, FYI- I have stayed in that RV park with my Shuttle. Nice little place, easy in and out, level sites, quite, fishing out the front door and about 10 min. to Brad & Lonna's
  12. I am in the same boat as Don. Which one? I have an idea... Let me ask my wife, she seems to remember them all.
  13. Just what the Hell is wrong with Cupcake? I think I like it...
  14. A few Pics of Brad & Lonnas get together. More will follow so check back... I will need some help with the names. I do know the Parrot that bit Boomer... Rear Shock

Well a 420 series shock will not work. Unless the one in the picture is wrong the problem is that our shocks have a clevis on the bottom instead of the eye hole. Progressive still does not list a solution for us on their website. As far as I know the only option is the Works shock. I did speak with Penske a few years back and they will build you one for about the same price as a Works.
  16. Lonna, we are so excited for you and your new place. We are planning on coming on Saturday what do you need for me to bring. Let us know. We will be leaving on Thursday coming your way. See you on Satruday. Any particular time? Melissa

  21. That's what I gave myself for my 30th birthday... my 56th is around the corner in March. Hang in there, it's worth the effort.
  22. I got mine from Tony also, great guy and shipped it quickly.
  23. I put mine on my homemade grill about 10 years ago and its still there. I used a little epoxy and never would have thought it would have stayed on so long. One pic in my gallery. You can see in the photo in front of the gate.
  24. I have had mine off for years. No difference that I can tell. Pictures are in my gallery. I have a set of polished rotors I am putting on with the new tire change.
  25. I got one Mule Deer & one Bull Elk. Shot them both with a Canon (Digital That Is). I actually shot a few more but the were the best. If your intrested click on the link at the bottom and go to the Rocky Mountain page. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/MD11of1.jpg http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/elk21of1.jpg
