  1. It is staged. The popcorn was dropped in from above, just off camera, then the unpopped kernals were digitally removed.Or the most stupid dangerous way is like this; http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1399627/cell_phone_popcorn_hoax_revealed/ The way it was actually done http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/tech/2008/07/09/carroll.cellphone.popcorn.cnn
  2. PM me your phone number and a good time for Monday, I'll call you and get recommendations
  3. It will not even display the menu, when it would you could view the recordings. If it helps it is a Samsung 1040 The connectors are the rj 11, powered via the monitor
  4. I had a system in place with 4 cameras and a dvr. The dvr died and left me with monitoring capabilities but no recording. The monitor receives and powers the cameras, and then feeds the dvr. I need recommendations on something that won't cost more than what the last thieves I caught on camera were taking:mo money: The monitor output is via a BNC cable
  5. Man, I was reading that and thinking;" iwanna go, I wanna go, and was thinking, "I wished he posted that he was going to do that, i would have gotten up before breakfast and rode to Cincinnati to ride along with him",,, and then I got to the part about he did it in October. Oh well, I still felt like I was there.
  6. What's the latest on this Randy?
  7. How do the symptoms of this problem show up? If I let the bike sit for a few days, on the center stand, before I drop it to the side stand I always look at the air in the rear shock, usually it is within 2 or 3psi of what I want, never run air in the front since installing progressive springs. Sometimes, if I need to add air I have to push the manual button several times before it'll work. Is that indicative of this solder problem?
  8. Where did you get new ones? I need to replace the one on right side, it has many slats missing
  9. there were several on ebay just a hour ago
  10. Post #6 is all the public info available. Seems a bit weak on reporting news for that area.
  11. 234mph, pretty quick, danged quick actually
  12. if butterfly is open engine revs up. Look between the black rubber boot and the area where the butterfly pivot is. You either find a port with a cap on it or a bolt/screw head that you need to remove and screw an adapter into.
  13. I did a 1332 miler in 21 hours (part of my ride to Salt Lake City) a couple weeks ago. people ask me constantly,, why? I guess if I need to explain they wouldn't understand, if they understand then I don't need to explain. So, whenever you decide to do that, call me, I want to do it again.
  14. 163+mph
  15. add where you are from in Ky on your profile please. Even being from Paris, I'm not too ashamed to put it up there.

  16. That from what I can ascertain was a Police Officer and his wife from Ashland Ky. From wamx radio web site; The Ohio Highway Patrol says a long-time Ashland police officer and his wife were killed Saturday as the result of a motorcycle accident in Washington County, Ohio. 44 year old Ashland Police Sergeant Charles Leadingham and his 42 year old wife, Denise Leadingham were riding south on Interstate 77 7 miles north of Marietta when the accident occurred. The Highway Patrol says Charles Leadingham apparently lost control of his 2002 Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle then slid off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The Leadinghams were ejected from the cycle after the collision with the guardrail. Patrol officers say the Leadinghams were wearing helmets, and neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.
  17. With someone else sitting on bike, off of sidestand, full weight of bike on suspension, shake the bars back and forth a couple good hard licks, while they do this watch the fork tubes and lower legs. They go in 4 different directions when you shake. Add the forkbrace and it tones it down considerably. These upper tubes just aren't heavy enough to stop the oscillations 100%. If the triple tree was splined or square peg into square hole where it goes through the head and mounts the steering bearing, that would help considerably, maybe even stop it entirely
  18. Mine had flex at 27k miles! The miles are not the culprit, the barely marginally strong enough components are. I made a brace and installed on mine, took 100% of the road wiggle out, even most of the wiggle associated with freshly milled blacktop. Slower than idle in 1st gear still wiggles a might, sort of looks like a nervous goaltender.
  19. if you are online, go to the chat room. tab is on top of screen, right hand side

  20. My bike sat motionless and unstarted for 2 years. Carbs were full of gunk and it bogged badly. I ran several cans of carb cleaner through it and now it purrs like a kitten

  21. well, could be either one. Try this, get it to the rpm and throttle setting where it'll bog when you attempt to accelerate. Open throttle to accelerate, when it bogs add a little choke to it. If it picks up and goes it is lean, if it bogs even more it is rich. My guess is lean, it likely is not getting the slides to open when vacuum goes low.

  22. I found that to move the trunk rearward any at all you either cut the 2 center supports off and lengthen them or raise the trunk up. I opted to raise the trunk and move rearward by 2", as Condor and I have exchanged numerous emails on this I concur with his thoughts, it aint quite as nice looking as I hoped it would be. But, there is a lot more room there now for passenger comfort. I may cut the tabs off and reweld them next
  23. No, Eddie say it aint so, there is no place to play in the Jeep, Slade is rapidly being shut down, Livingston is already done. Harlan is closest place to play. Besides, wouldn't you rather have a Bronco?
  24. check headset volume control on handlebar, mine was flaky from not being used, several turns up and down cleaned the wiper and it works good now. Mine was low enough that the volume needed to be cranked to the point of distortion
  25. The local switch is to attenuate the receive so you can listen to people who are VERY close, it is like a 2 position rf gain of sorts. Out in Wyoming last week I had the squelch all the way open and volume up way higher than it should have been. The radio was very quiet, so I pushed the local switch to turn that feature off and near got my eardrums busted, it was doing its job correctly.
