Just wondered how your 75 mph test run went with the trailer. Took my bike and trailer to wally world tonight---50 lb bag of dog food and some other stuff came home. Don't care if I look foolish, at least I got in an hour ride doing errands.

Soooo--You like pulling your tail:rasberry: I wouldn't admit that I couldn't feel my tailend. Kind of hard to ride by the seat of your pants. No monkey butt either. Just one 3 day trip and you won't leave home without it.

If you have the time (No special trips) I have always liked that color. Who knows, color has swayed me before.

70 to 75 with or without the trailer. Have been known to run faster if all traffic is.

What size cooler do you carry on the tongue of your trailer? Thinking about a 25 qt size. Always camped before, but hoteling it now and no need to carry a large cooler inside the trailer.

I don't know, the last time I went to one of these someone got me drunk. I won't mention any name's, but she started this chat room party. That reminds me, need to call a friend and see if I can get some apple pie to take to the rally for some special gal's. We will see how much they like to party.

Brad, Sorry to hear of the job. Know how you feel somewhat. Been hanging on because of 20 yrs now 25 but wondering if that was the right thing to do. Looking grimmer every year. Good things always happen to good people, and I know you fall into that catagorie. Like so many said, its time to look ahead and I know you will find something to pour you're heart into and not just go in and collect a check. Wishing you the best. ON another note---If at all possible, maybe you two could come to the rally. Take the severace check ( if you got one and could swing it ) and come and relax for a few days. Might be the best thing to clear the mind. I'll even buy the two of you breakfast one morning. Gil

Talked with Don and Bill that made the buckles and they told me that their pictures were done by a professional and cost about 100.00 per photo.

The Neapolis Record---Vol. 1---No. 1---Neapolis, Ohio July, 1879 This was the first paper,first issue, in Neapolis, My dad found a copy in some of my grandfathers papers. Here are some things written in that paper. All Sorts "Misfortunes never come singly." Same way with twins. "Reaching after the unattainable." A man feeling up under the back of his vest for the end of a parted suspender. All men are not homeless, but some are home less than others. Farmers make hay when the sun shines, and the young folks make love when the moon shines. Two things that no fellow can do at the same time are --to hold a pretty girl upon his lap and keep from kissing her. Why is your nose in the middle of your face?--Because it's the scenter. This is the first year that Neapolis has been blest with an Ice-House filled with plenty of good ice, thanks to Massr. Billings and Jones. Local The Neapolis Sunday School has a membership of 35 L. D. Bingham has his new residence about completed. Coburn & Co. , have shipped 60 bushels of Huckleberries this season. D. A. Fuller raised 25 bushels of Strawberries this year. Miss. Grace Bliss has been engaged to teach the winter term of school. Miss. Katie Billings killed a snake of the Blue Racer species that measured four feet, seven inches. G.O. Coburn & Co. , are making preparations to build a grain warehouse, we learn that the work is to commence at once. There have been but five deaths in Neapolis since the first blow was struck, in 1872, 3 were from disease and 2 were accidental, which speak volumes for our little City. Having decided to go West, I now offer my residence in Neapolis, Oh. , also my Land north of the Village, for sale or trade, at a Good Bargin. R. Moses. Was their on the bike in 86 for a week. Camped--rode--siteseeing--rained alot but would quit and get hot and dry us off.

Son just had a flat on the front of his 05 sportster Sunday. No problem---took him the portable air tank, added air, got half way home and added air again. Tire stayed on rim.

www.timeouttrailers.org has 480x8 chrome rims but they are expensive. If they are not to rusted or pitted you could have them powder coated chrome like I did. Just use the same hub caps.

A good rule of thumb is that the tongue weight should be between 5 % and 10% of the total trailer weight. It should never be under 3%. A negative tongue weight, or even a low tongue weight is dangerous. Try to get the tongue weight over 10 pounds but under 40 pounds. Steering head should be torqued to the correct specs. It's a good idea to start pulling forward before the turn as this helps in the turn. I had a small wobble at start but one day the whole bike started a wobble in a curve without the trailer. Steering head nut had loosened up. Probably would have never noticed it if I hadn't taken that curve a little to fast. I always add about 5 pounds to the front forks on my 86 after adding to the rear when I pull a trailer.

Well, I'll throw some more in. She own's her own guns--knows how to shoot them and used to help me reload. Just grad 4 yrs. of pre vet. and got put on wait lists for grad school to become a vet.
