  1. Hope she feel better soon and heals fast. She will be in our thoughts as well.
  2. Nice--thanks for the show
  3. Ok people, reread the message. LOL Did not mean bi-polar---Try bi-s**ual. Really not my type of beer.
  4. Great song. AAAAA+++++ Thanks for posting.
  5. Boomer----Don't know much about you,but if you get to my neck of the woods,I could introduce you to a 26 yr old with 2 kids thats Bi and likes to ride.(real nice looking also) Told me the other day that she is tired of making out with same and asked when I would take her for a ride. LOL-- Not my type of beer. (wife wouldn't like it either.) Just throwing it out there for you to know.
  6. Annie---You know we all love you. No need to thank yourself. We all love your posts--honest. If you need a thankyou or a hug--just say so,we will sure try to make your day a better one. I have heard that they now have medicine to help with your memory so you can remember where the thankyou button is.
  7. Take care Anne---and let everything heal properly.
  8. Prayer's being sent--Hope for a speedy recovery. Both of you take care.
  9. Nice looking bike, like the others said. You should get lots of enjoyment out of it.
  10. Check out the May issue---Touring Cruiser Shootout. Harley Street Glide VS. Victory Cross Country. Then the June issue----Star Stratonliner Deluxe. Both bike's are a copy the the Street Glide. The Victory and the Stratoliner look like twins. The Victory's fairing does look better though. If Yamaha wants me to trade my 86 VR or my 09 Ultra for a newer Yam.---they had better step up to the plate. Someone go throw a bucket of water on them to wake them up.
  11. I drive for a living, locally, and my wife wonders why I get upset and swear to myself about other drivers. You should see how many do the right turn at a rural stop sign without stopping. Almost got one yesterday with my propane truck. Laid on the air horn and pulled along side them in the other lane and they just looked like oh well. Sad,very sad.
  12. I'll be the first to tell you that I don't think anyone can find the perfect bike. I looked for the last 2 years at everything out there. We went back and forth between the RSV and Harley, and it was a toss up. Wife and I decided on the harley, and we wouldn't have bought this one yet, only we found a great deal by accident. I have always loved my 86 VR. Try them all--have one of each in the garage--ride the one you feel like rideing today. :mo money:Maybe I'll win the lotto I do like the lower center of gravity of the Harley.
  13. I just bought an 09 Ultra--(See--I'm a baaad boy--on this site)Its a completely different ride. Some vibration at idle and slow speeds, but nothing to complain about. Smooths right out above 10mph. Put about 500 miles on it now and really starting to enjoy the relaxed ride.Plenty of power when you need it. Not the rocket my 86 VR is, just different.Stereo is great. Wife loves the rear seat and backrest. She still enjoys the 86 VR --took that for a ride Wed night. Something I did notice thou--my right hand would start to get numb on the VR around 100 to 150 mile and I would have to use the cruise and shake my hand to get the numbness out. Not so with the Ultra---I like the seating to handlebar better on the Ultra. I'll have to switch with Buzman for an hour or so and ride his 08 RSV. Rode it once, but only for about 5 miles.I do get more looks on the harley--wonder why--some people--You ride what you like and I'll ride what I like and we will have a great time together.
  14. Out of curiousity----where would you suggest riders go if they wanted to spend some time in that area this year sometime.
  15. Very well written. Publish more often.
  16. Do you have the trailer? Do you need a 4 or 5 pin wire harness? Any auto supply store sells what you need. Where to wire into your bike, I couldn't tell you. But someone will chime in.
  17. Someone throw a bucket of water on Yamaha and wake them up. Just my 2 cents, still a great bike, but they need to catch up.
  18. Just took a set of 404's off my 86. Good tire for the price. Got alittle over 12,000 miles out of the rear and some tread left. Not enough to warrent waiting untill riding season was in full swing to change. Welcome to the site.
  19. Dang, I'll be on island of St. Kitts with my wife and daughter. Wonder if the 86 VR can go fast enough to skim across the water. Wishing you both the best, really wish I could be there. Glad your getting settled.
  20. s** - t-shirts-food and beer--mixed with rideing
  21. Only if you ride yours up from Texas bud----They will all probably send us to the other end of the campground. Not to worry --- if they do we will just go to the lake cottage in Angola, In.
  22. My wife yells at me all the time---I don't take good picture's. Have to catch me by surprise.
  23. Funny thing about the shirt-----Wife went garage saleing 2 yrs ago and walked into this garage and this guy had an 8 ft. table full of Harley shirts. All new and from all over the place. Only $2.00 a shirt. Son rides a Harley and we both love T-shirts. She bought 25 of them. What a deal.
