They finally said the it was a level 3 tornado on the news today. Yesterday they were calling it a funnel cloud/high winds.

I just padlock the coupler and leave it on the bike. If I leave the trailer at motel, I just padlock the coupler and leave the trailer in front of my room or wherever the bike is being parked to save that spot. Usually ask desk if they can keep an eye on it, but who knows if they do.

Pole barn gone a mile away north of me and his house damaged. 35 ft 5th wheel turned upside down and moved about 25 ft up against another house across the road from him. Several houses and mobil homes destroyed, tree broke off about 25 ft up or uprooted. Went about 1 mile west of me and a mile north. Got lucky again. Not even a down limb in my yard. After seeing the destruction, My heart goes out to those that lost their homes. In this area,we were lucky that more did not lose their lives. On one road 2 houses next door to each other completely gone, house next door some damage and then next house completely gone. Not just piles of rubble, but spread out several hundred yards in the field, just basement left.

I like some others just bought a gel pad from Wallmart. $20.00 is little to pay to try one. Its just a tad big for the rider seat, but will work.

Question for all you over the hill riders and campers. This question is for men and women. As you all know, as we get older, sometimes we have to get up in the night to visit the privy. Where do you go at in the middle of the night? Do you walk to the outhouse or carry a port-a- john or what? Boy--can't wait to hear the comments on this one. I'm asking for it I know so have fun,but would like some answere's also. Trying to talk the wife into camping again on the bike.

. Courtney You never said if you was staying in a hotel or camping. Kuryakyn.com--metric bike---luggage has some packs that fit over the backrest and you could reverse them and have them sit on the passenger seat. Also check with your Yam. stealer, they will have idea's for more luggage space also. Most camping places have waterproof bags you can pack in and bungee to the bike. They are heavy duty.(Cabela's,Gander Mountain, etc.) Cabela's are called Dry sacks or dry bags. These would be the least expensive way to go. Roll your cloths up,takes up less space. As far as what to pack, most girls I have know over pack, thats why I pull a trailer. I'm sure the women will chim in soon as to what needs to be packed.

Glad your ok--you can fix the bike. If you was that close to home and some cages--I would have went back for the deer, dinner can wait.

Yea---boyfriend is already out, just don't know it yet. Looks like you have a riding partner, and we all know what springs from "friendships" with the opposite sex. Oh, and don't lie, If she officially dumps her boyfriend, it wouldn't bother you in least, would it?

Rebuilding my sidecar now---went everywhere with the kids. Now they both ride their own bikes. Son and daughter, family time is great.

Don't know about the state that you live in, but in Ohio, we have a leash law---but on your own property, you do not have to have the dog on a leash if you are outside with it and not doing anything else but watching the dog. (if you are doing anything else they say you do not have control of your dog.) Had a dog warden tell me that when he stoped when I was mowing the lawn and my sheperd went after him, (in my yard) I yelled and the dog put on the skids and stood there and would not let him move. The dog warden said--You have control of your dog so I won't issue a warning ticket. Nice of him I thought. After I told the dog it was ok, the dog made up to him and acted like a pup. Dog warden also said, he wished more people trained their dogs to obey like mine obeyed. -
Sorry to hear about you knee. Will keep you in our thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery.
