  3. For you guy's that haven't tried it. I use the spray on suntan lotion( wallmart-3 pack) Bull Frog SPF 50 if I can find it. Or the Coppertone Sport SPF 30....both are sweet proof and you don't get any on your hands. Not greasy feeling either.
  4. Seen the E-mail buddy...so glad your ok...You have still been in our thoughts and prayers. How's the wrist/arm doing?
  5. If she hasn't laid her eggs yet, get rid of the nest. You will have a mess with bird poop all over and she will come back next year as well as some of the young. If she can't get in there to lay eggs, she will build a new nest somewhere else.
  6. Welcome to the site. There was no issues with 2nd gear on the 86-93. Check all the buttons for radio,intercom, handle bar controls, air suspension. ( only works on center stand and with key on acc.) Running with choke alittle,maybe seafoam will clear that up. Look for cracks in plastic and the pins broke off on side covers ( easy fix). Look at clutch and brake fluid for very dark color, if it is they will need to be bled and replaced, good idea anyway. I'm sure more will join in with other things.
  7. :sign yeah that::crackup::rotfl:
  8. Still thinking of Ponch and his family. Prayer's still going out for them. Thanks for the update also.
  9. Timeout ( Timeouttrailers.org) bought cyclemate years ago. Tried pulling them up, but website is not working. Don't know if they went out of business this winter or just redoing their website. They sold Timeout Campers and several cargo trailers.
  10. Aspen Classic here also...
  11. Kevin--My wife used to work for US Air and she said that if you paid extra for exit row seats you should get those seats. She said hopefully your receipt shows this and to make sure you take it to the counter. Anytime you pay extra on a flight,for a spesific seat, that is garenteed comfirmation. If your receipt shows those seats and you don't get them you should go to consumer affairs on their website or they should refund the extra money you paid. Hope this helps.
  12. Praying for you and the entire family.

  20. You could head over to Berlin, Oh if you haven't been that way yet. Its all Amish country around there and the resturants sell a backroads map that is great. Gets you all around the area. Looks like about an hour from where you'll be staying.
  21. I only spend about 100-150.00 a month on gas for the S10. Thats back and forth to work and running around. Wife spends about the same the same in her car.

  24. Well I have an 86 VR that I bought new and my wife and I took our honeymoon on it. Still is ridden almost daily,but I do have an 09 Ultra also, so have to switch it up once in awhile. I looked at Yamaha, Honda, Harley, and BMW when I bought. We ended up trying to decide between Yamaha and Honda. In 86 Honda had the Goldwing Interstate and Aspencade. The aspencade was all decked out for around 10,000.00 out the door. The VR had all the same features for around 8,000.00 out the door, and it was faster, and we liked the style better. Price was a big factor with just being married with house payment and all. I felt the handling was better on the VR and it rode more like a sport tourer ( hence the nickname touring crotch rocket) and being young I did like the speed and handling. The bike is still all original with a few battle scars and if I ever get the kids collage's paid for those will get fixed.
  25. Ruffy, A friend of mine is a PT and he says the therapy is where you really need to work the knee. He also says that the older his patients are the more of a winnie butt they seem to be, and they don't want to work the knee like they should. I won't kid you, the PT will be painful but the more you work it the better it will be in the end. If if makes you feel any better, my Dad is 87 and has had a hip and knee replaced, and he is still climbing a ladder stand and cross bow hunting and gun hunting for deer. He said when the knee healed, that he wished he had done it years ago. I know everything will go fine and I'll be willing to bet that you will feel and act 10 years younger. Will be keeping you in our thoughts and prayers untill your fully recovered and happily riding again.
